Black Hills Pawn E North St, Rapid City

Been a repeat customer for several years now and I'm pleased with the service and selection of items available, artwork, beadwork, computers, discounts, electronics, firearms, gold, household Items, jewelry, knives, Local Merchant, no outrageous prices. Quick response service, toys, untilities, videogames, watches, I love this pawn shop.

I, originally, didn't care for this place. I was trying to buy a couple quilts that were hanging on the wall but wanted to look at them first and the guy told me, "If I have to take these down, you better be buying one." Sooooo, I didn't go back for a long time. I've been back a few times and they've been very helpful and I'll continue to go back. I'm satisfied with the service.

One of the better shops in town, for sure. Locally owned and they actually work there, and care about their business. I worked here for a while and am still a customer. They will treat you right if you need a short term loan or an excellent deal on a used item.

I purchased a Blue Ray player from them, took it home and didn't hook it up for a couple days, when I did, it didn't work. No big deal, these guys swapped it out for another, no questions asked. These guys are very fair, I would work with them again, no problem.

Bought a headset today for $100. Was told it was an Arctis x9 just to get home and find out it is a Arctis 7. The guy discounted it a little. But I feel LIED to and completely RIPPED off. They only have exchange/no refunds. Which I feel scammed from as well. Especially since I was lied to about the model. I could have gone down the street to get the same model for half the price. Be careful when shopping here I guess.

These guys are great! Very professional and honest. Store was clean and well lit. I had a great experience selling my old laptop and they even paid me more than I was expecting! I would recommend this pawn shop to anyone!

First stopped into the larger pawn shop across the street. Was looking for a Black Hills gold ring. Felt that they were very overpriced. Got my ring at Black Hills Pawn for half of what the the other store wanted. Very satisfied.

Tried to use Visa card to take Pawn items out and was told cash only. I attempted to take my card back 3 times and 3 times he said, "no, I'll just hold it for safe-keeping"! I had to demand it because HOW ELSE WAS I TO GET MY CASH OUT TO PAY?? Later, when I brought the cash in, was told he was one of the owners. Bad business, native peoples...beware. That's how I took it, anyway. But no matter how I may have perceived it, it still remains a fact!

Great staff, flexible on prices, charged me a little more when i woukd hawk stuff to get it out, but gave me what i asked for it. One of the gems, pawn shop-wise :) thanks guys!!
