Closed with Big Country Title in May of 2022. The team consisting of Amanda, Heidi, Troy and Jennifer were extremely communicative! Could not have asked for most responsive people. From the beginning to the end, they held my hand to make sure I understood all the documents I was signing! I will definitely be using them again! Highly Recommend

Very unprofessional group of rookies-we had a 5 week delay on our closing due to a judgement that had not being investigated enough by BCT for them to see it had been settled years ago. They told us they had contacted a law firm we needed to settle something, but when we called the law firm they said no such phone call had been made. I had to ride and nag them to get any kind of email response-they would not return phone calls or emails for days. Save yourself time and money/use someone else for your title needs

6 weeks ago I signed a sales contract with a buyer for a very small piece of property that I own. The buyer is purchasing title insurance through BCT. They found some issues with the property, so I have a lot of questions and need information so that these issues can be resolved. For the last 5 1/2 weeks, my Mother, who is handling this for me at my request due to time constraints, has called and emailed the underwriter of the title policy repeatedly in an attempt to have our questions answered. Her calls have not been returned and the only email responses that she's gotten consists of the underwriter saying how busy she is with large closings and she'll review the questions and get back to her, which she has not done. We are stuck in limbo until we get our questions answered, yet for FIVE + weeks we've been completely ignored. I'm not aware of any company that could get away with this kind of unprofessionalism, disrespect, and dishonesty and still retain any customers. If I were to ignore a customer, regardless of how busy I am, I would be fired, and rightfully so. Clearly, this underwriter needs a lesson in professionalism. Should I ever have the need to purchase title insurance, it will not be through BCT.

My husband and I had closed on properties with other closing companies in Abilene until we found Nathan and Big Country Title. Hands down they are the best in the Big Country. Their entire staff was knowledgeable, friendly, always in touch, and went above and beyond during the buying process. We wouldn’t recommend anyone besides Big Country Title. First class group. Absolutely horrible experience. The team we worked with were deceitful and not transparent about the what was required and what needed to be done on my part. I had to send my mother's death certificate to them twice because the team we worked with, misplaced it the first time. There was a 5 week delay and we were only able to close due to the work I did on my part. If we were waiting on them to complete the required work, we would still be waiting. I will not recommend this title company to anyone

They were very communicative with me, as a buyer, & I appreciated their transparency & the time they took explaining the process to me, as a first time home buyer, in Texas!

Sarah and the rest of the staff are very sweet and accommodating! Sarah waited for us to arrive, which was very close (within 3 minutes) to notirize a document that we needed. She was very understanding!
