Bellco Credit Union S Wadsworth Blvd, Lakewood

I got there just before they closed on a Saturday expecting to just use the ATM in the foyer. The machine ate my card since it had been too long since I last used it (a security precaution). Even though it was now a couple minutes after they were closed one of the employees unlocked the doors and let me in. They not only completed the transaction, but also ordered a new card for me. They were very efficient and very friendly even though it was really my fault for not getting there with a little more spare time. Turned a bad situation into a very positive one. I just wish I got their names to thank them properly.

Poor customer service, pick another branch. They made me feel like a nuisance! Extremely disappointed. I have been a member for many years and rarely have to go into a branch. When I have, the service has been great. I have to give credit to the Edgewater branch for that! My husband and I show up just before closing last Saturday morning. We waited in the teller line and ask if we can get help to merge our accounts. The teller went to ask someone who appeared to be a manager. Understandably, she said there would not be enough time to help us. I had a few follow up questions to make sure I understood the steps and our options. She appeared bothered and could care less. Her answers were short instead of elaborating to help us understand the best way to proceed. I asked how much time we should allow when we returned the following week. She advised us of coming at least 30 minutes early. Forward to a week later, we show up 2 hours before closing. We wait in line again for a teller. We ask if we can get help with account merging. Her first question is to ask if we made an appointment. We did not, and she continues to say they are quite busy and will not have time to help us. She suggested that we try another branch. The branch appeared busy, I get it. I credit myself with common sense. However, I would expect you to be the expert in the situation. So help me navigate your processes.

Went in to check some details on a loan after my grandma passed. Pearl and Davion were so nice and patient through all our questions. Very sympathetic to our situation. Very helpful, we appreciate it.

Very good credit union and it has also a shared branching doing shared banking with other credit unions.

Bellco is the worst bank, period. Took two weeks and 5 calls to fix my onlinne. Not to mention you can’t make reoccurring payments to a loan account. Web portal is the worst I have ever seen.

Shannon was awesome, I came in with an expired card and a need to access the money. She printed me a new one and made sure I had everything I needed. I always say if you have not joined a Credit union yet, what are you waiting for. Come to see Shannon at Bellco CU on wads by belmar!!!

So I really don't give reviews but I just opened an account here today. And the lady who was looking after my wife and I "Kim Candelaria" was amazing she was helpful friendly and informative that I had to write a review. She's the best and a credit to your team at Bellco. Thanks Kim, was a pleasure working you and thank you for all your help and just great customer care/services

One of the worst banking experiences I have ever had. I opened checking/savings accounts and NO account number was given to me. I've called, emailed, and went to bank to get my account numbers. STILL cannot use their online banking. It doesn't recognize my account number. Bank branch customer service was of no help. This is ridiculous! STAY AWAY from this credit union.

This is a fantastic branch, with ATM and branch services. The branch is clean, the staff are courteous and friendly.

Terrible service, they say that the IDs they give here in the United States do not serve to exchange a check, a lot of racism.

I would give no stars if I could. I have now called three times to have my last lease payment reversed - I leased a new car and turned the old one in. They keep taking payments out even though my car lease is done. Oh and also, just looked at my credit and they are reporting the lease balance from about 2 years ago. Customer service is impossible, unwilling to help. Do not bank here for any reason.
