    I’ve been with Bellco for a couple years and recently I had an issue with Zelle that is attached to my account. Someone hacked into my account and transferred $800 from my account to theirs!!! I filed a dispute because that was all my money and it took them over a week and a half to even notify me about the situation. I talked with someone at one of the branches and she was able to get them to answer finally. They declined my dispute because “it looks like it was authorized by me”. Are you kidding me?! I shared with them that I had a super strange phone call that day and that someone could’ve possibly hacked my phone. They didn’t take any of that into consideration. Their fraud department is a joke. They don’t care about their members at all. I’ll definitely be switching banks ASAP! Don’t come over to this bank unless you want a rude fraud department that doesn’t care and is rude over the phone.

    I'm consider moving my business account to Navy Federal, or 1st Bank. Bellco's answer to everything is "we can't do that".

    Worst and rudest customer service I have came in contact with. They don’t care about customer nor are they willing to help over the phone. I am happy I closed my account due to how rude they are.

    Good bank when you don’t need to call them. When I call, I’m on hold for 10 minutes then when someone picks up and I tell what I’m calling about I get transferred at least 2 times before reaching the right person. I opened an account at US Bank and the phone customer service has been way better.

    We've had a Bellco account going on 15 years now and are finally pulling the plug. While they typically have competitive rates, their customer service is abysmal. It takes forever to get anything from them via a phone call and especially via a message. When we recently tried to pull out a new car loan it took almost 15 days to get it to where we were going to sign for it because of numerous errors on their part and having to relay to them information multiple times. Ultimately we just canceled that application and went elsewhere and it was done in 2 days. We had a couple other issues since then and everything takes 4-5 business days to get anything back where my other banks I'll have something within an hour if I call and maybe a day if I use email or message through their site.

    My husband and I have banked at Bellco for over 30 years. They have always handled our accounts in an excellent fashion. Over the years, we have used the credit union for loans (personal, auto and mortgage) and have found Bellco's rates the most competitive rates available. When the need has arisen, their customer service is always very professional and helpful and ensures that issues are resolved quickly. I highly recommend Bellco Credit Union.

    I have been banking with Bellco for 4 years since moving to Colorado but am now deciding to close my account. I came across the rudest manager today in the corporate contact center. I originally called in to dispute a transaction and discuss possibly having fees reversed. I informed the lady that I was aware that the fees were not due to CU error however I explained that Geico would not work with me even though it was there fault for the early debit. I kindly asked her to review my account to see if she could help. She places me on hold to speak to someone then came back and said she could help with 1 fee. I was grateful and thanked her. After a few hours, I didn’t see the fee reversed so I called back to see if someone could look into it. I was immediately transferred to a supervisor for some reason. The rudest gentleman came on the line. He told me “The last rep gave you the wrong information. We can’t help you. I will speak to her about this.” I asked him why he could not honor her word and refund the 1 fee for me. He started to raise his voice and repeatedly kept saying “We’ve already reversed 4 fees. We cannot help you.” I explained to him that the previous reversals were due to my account being fraudulently taking over which bellco caught and called me about. He repeatedly kept talking over me loudly. He refused to help. Had no empathy. He spoke to me like I was irresponsible and a bother to him. I told him I would close my account because I didn’t believe it was ethically right to guarantee a reversal then to not live up to that. He said he could mail me a check or I could go inside to close it. He didn’t care to keep my business. He said that I could call the branch and ask for a manager. Which I did and the manager who I spoke to has not even called me back. Which I am not surprised. I was on the verge of tears as my father n law just died and have had so many financial hardships occurring. I refuse to bank with people who treat other humans this way.

    I've been a customer here for nearly 25 years and was thrilled to the point of recommending them until about 18 months ago. I appreciate their community investments and the services and products are fine. But any time I've needed to actually talk to a person since about 2019, I end up considering leaving for another institution. As I write this, I'm nearly 30 minutes on hold, transferred three times. Probably my breaking point.

    Spent 2 months trying to refinance out home when others going elsewhere were done within 2 weeks. Nothing could be signed digitally to fill out the application. Who knows what my login for Bellco is anymore, I have called gone into the locations and nobody can tell me how to get onto my account and now we have a home loan through them that apparently they never sell so we are stuck with them for 15years at least. They wanted me to setup auto payments for that....nah haven't been impressed with the credit union through the years I will pay my home loan from my other bank that actually works ------------------------------------------------------------------ UPDATE: this is the only mortgage company I know of that rejects a payment due to a typo and being a few cents lower than the mortgage and not notifying you in anyway. Just reject it outright, no notice and hey now you get charged an extra $114. Run far and fast from this company. As soon as we can refinance and sell we will never use Bellco again

    While attempting to pay off auto loan, (I called the main corporate number), I was on hold for almost 3 hours. Customer service informed me the only way to pay off was to mail in a check. After mailing cashier check found out I could have paid online, without having to pay the mailing costs as well as additional interest. WORST customer service I have ever recieved! I would NOT recommend doing business with them unless you have Absolutely no other option is available.

    UPDATE: I was contacted earlier this year by a Bellco Manager named Jennifer Bobbin. She introduced herself and asked me to tell her my story in detail. I explained at length about my horrible past experience with Bellco that resulted in my credit being destroyed [due to constant miscommunication about a mutual debt that I had no control over]. Jennifer said she had had the opportunity to look over the years long information in my file and she agreed that a serious mistake had been made. She said there was little she could do about the past, but she did have the authorization to update my file to paid in full, and delete the charge offs to my credit score. I just want to say here that Ms. Bobbins really stood above the rest of the folks I've dealt with over the years. She was professional, caring, honest, and really on top of things with my situation. She gave me updates along the way and spoke to the credit reporting agencies on my behalf. Needless to say, within the next 3-4 months or so, my credit score reflected close to what it should have been before the incident that destroyed it. As such, I will say that over the years, Bellco's customer service has improved dramatically - at least in some departments. I truly hope they continue to hire individuals such as Jennifer Bobbins to handle customer issues from here on out. Thank you for your help, Jennifer - you've renewed my faith in Bellco Credit Union!

    Bellco told me I could get a 3 month deferment on my auto loan due to coronavirus then proceeded to call me each week after stating I was late on my payment.. Each person would say they would take care of the issue but still would get a call from a different spokesperson the next week saying I was late.. When I reached out to ask about my status they literally hung up on me back to back even after asking for management .. not to mention my credit score was affected because they reported it to the credit bureau even after saying I had 3 months of payments on hold and each person saying they would take care of it. Really really a bad company to do business with .. I can’t stress this enough !!!
