    This is the first time I have to write a bad review of the Baxter Credit Union, as I have had so many positives, up until now. I have a Visa Rewards Cash card, and had an unauthorized charge placed on it. I called Member Services, as the Credit Card Department doesn't seem to handle the disputes, from what I was told. Notes were taken, when I called two days ago, and I was told the charge was credited back by the merchant so it would not appear on my online statement. Sure enough, I log on to my computer today, and the charge is there. I call BCU and they have to verify you all over again, and then take the information again, and then tell you the charge was not disputed and you have to dispute it again in another department. I got transferred all over the place, and left a message for Dana in Member Relations to call me back, and I am still waiting. With Citi card, when there is an unauthorized charge, you do it online and they give you a conditional credit, and that is it! It is researched and the credit is made permanent. What is up with this Credit Union?

    Horrific company! They took over PNC and have had issues ever since then. I have been trying to close out an account for over a week now. I was advised a balance was on my account so I paid it, and asked that no further transactions be processed since I want to close out the account. I was advised that it would be taken care of. Fast forward to today, and i have a balance yet again. We spoke to Hector who advised us that we did turn off overdraft protection but that we still had a balance due to auto pay transactions. I spoke to supervisor Luis (empl I.D. 336) who advised me that we need to call the institution that we used to pay the account because it wasn't showing. We advised him that we confirmed and the payment processed and then asked what the next step would be. He was stumped and said they won't do anything. Absolutely no desire to look for a solution if his institution was at fault. Placed the blame on us and the other institution we are with. Perfect example on how the company operates. Don't even get me started on started on app and inexperienced associates who can't get it to work.

    They do not care about resolving your issues or providing any form of customer service . Expect to spend a lot of time holding just to get agents to put you on hold to "research the matter". In addition to their poor customer service, they freeze my card at least once a week for suspicious activity like shopping at the local grocery store. And their app does not let you unfreeze it.

    I just want to explain that this credit union is located INSIDE of the Beckman Coulter facility. You will need to speak with security to enter the building. It does actually exist and I’m a happy member of BCU.

    I been with Baxter Credit Union since 1990, my rate zero.. Reason they have super bad customer service and lack of communication with customers...

    Great customer service. Quality products. I have been with BCU for almost a year and a half if my memory serves me correctly. I just recently started sending money to my accounts. After maybe six months after me sending my direct deposit there, I was approved for a auto loan and a unsecured credit card at very good interest rates. I did require a co-signer but my score was only 574. I've never had any bad experiences with them. If you're looking for a loan Emily was awesome to me

    Had a credit card with them when I was 18. And just now dealing with the fallout more than a decade later. I let the card expire, thinking it was completely paid off, come to find out, 10+ years later, they sent me to collections. Never once did I receive any letter from them, saying I still owed money. Two weeks and 6 phone calls later, I think it's finally paid off. Spoke to so many people, all telling me different things, transferring me to different departments. None very helpful. Would NEVER recommend them for anything.

    I had an issue, that I didn’t think would be resolved. BCU took care of me and reached out to me to see if they could help. And the associate went above and beyond! I’m super satisfied with BCU. Thank you Melissa!
