BCB Bank Ave C, Bayonne

Been a customer since they opened and the service has always been terrible, one day they confiscated my bank card from my wife because she wasn't a customer ,she was on her way to work. And despite talking to customer service my self refused to give the card back to her,then I changed my mailing address and notified them in person a year later I order checks and they were sent to my new address but printed on the check is my old one?? Then just 2 weeks ago my atm card was crushed so I go there (I live in Pa) because they can't do a phone transaction and they forgot to mention a whopping $8 card charge that put my account in the negative, If it wasn't for a family member i would either have to go to bayonne (can't stand the town) or pay a $30 00 transaction fee.then at the Broadway branch I'm waiting to speak to a manager while I'm sitting there I watch as the person in waiting for is in the back eating a donut then goes out for a cigarette while I'm sitting waiting it's no wonder they have a off duty cop on the premises at every branch,,your $ at work ,if it wasn't for business reasons I would have closed my account long ago.Or how about not too long ago I'm in city hall and try to use the Bcb, Atm machine it says no card read so I go to the bank and try their Atm no good so I go inside and talk to a representative she tells me maybe I used the wrong password so I go out and try it again NG. So back inside I go and they tell me there's no problem with it. Now a uniformed cop comes in and is at a teller next to me and they say to him the bank has been having trouble all morning with the Atm. How doesn't the right not know what the left is doing?

It's a local bank. Can't expect much with the service.

This was my mother's bank and she always loved the 40th street staff... When my mother passed away everyone was very helpful and I decided to open an account there... I just wish that they would reopen their Brick branch...When I move, I'll still keep my BCB account....There is definitely a difference between the treatment you receive from a local bank like BCB and my other national chain bank... They don't treat you like a number....And their lollipops are bomb!😆

Pretty decent service. No complaints. It's a typical bank.

Rude and insulting. ATM ate my card, when I tried to get it back - forget about apology, I was insulted by a suggestion that I must have stolen the card - this is why it was captured by ATM (and the card had my name imprinted on it!)
