Bank OZK Maple St, Carrollton

I’m telling anyone I know not to go to Bank OZK! They charge an overdraft as soon as the money comes out negative even when you immediately put money in your account to cover it. If you need a good bank, try CREDIT KARMA!!! They don’t charge any fees! And they have WAY more insight into your account and finances. I recommend them so much more. The manager at this Bank OZK when I was concerned about the overdraft fee, she was rude to me and I was rude back (I know) and she told me all I can do is come into the bank branch and close my account! I never said I wanted to…. But HA! That I WILL do now. Thank you for saying something with some sense. 😁

I posted a review several month's ago. OZK would not cash a check for $3900 despite the fact I have 3 accounts there. The owner replied without actually addressing the problem. So Mr.Owner the next time I come in with a $3900 check will you cash it or not?

Poor! No longer customer service. No one will call you back. We tried to call to close an account on October 28, the customer no-service in Alabama said someone from the Carollton office would call us back. Today is November 13th. Still waiting.

I cancelled my banking with them. Worst bank experience ever. I would not use them ever again.

Friendly Staff. I had a fraud issue. They handled my issue stress free, I was reimbursed quickly after the investigation. Within 3 weeks. Never had a bad experience with normal transactions either.

This is by far the worst bank i have ever had to do business with. They are never open and have no Saturday hours so it is impossible to go to this branch without having to take off work. They put a service charge on my account after assuring me that this type of account did not have a service charge when the switch from Certus occured. When i called about this charge an employee at the Carrollton branch told me the charge was from the old (Certus) bank. When i asked why a bank that is no longer in business was putting a service charge on my account she did not have an answer. I am still trying to get this issue resolved weeks later. I just went this past Saturday to try and deposit a few checks using the ATM but it was broken as usual. Please do not open an account here, you will absolutely regret it!

Messed up my accounts more than once. Customer service is terrible. Ever since the change over it went from a small hometown bank to where everyone knew each other to folks just being another number. Going to close my account in the morning.

Since the company reflagged under Ozarks, customer service time traveled back to the 1980s. Need something, visit your local branch during business hours. And smile...

Horrible service. Took money out of my savings for a "service fee" while at the min. Of $100.
