Bank of the West Dr Martin Luther King Jr Ave, Albuquerque

Ghetto, indeed. As someone else here pointed out, this bank is very ghetto. Their fee for cashing their OWN checks is not $7 -- as someone else said -- but rather $7.50!!!! Unheard of. Also, many of the staff don't have a great customer service attitude. More importantly the "manager" Stefanie is quite uneducated and unprofessional, and on the exact same level as the tellers. So actually there is no "manager" available if there's ever a matter requiring judgment, knowledge, discretion, and/or professionalism. From reading the other reviews here, it appears the only good reason to go to this bank is if you are unable to speak any English. Otherwise, don't go here.

There is almost never any kind of line here for service. The staff is always super friendly and very helpful. I seldom use a bank over a credit union but I am happy to use this branch

I wish they did not have so many fees, but otherwise Bank of the West is so good at making things easy for their customers. The online portal is a breeze.

Just signed up and no cash deposit at atms is a big bummer

I have been with this branch since before it was Bank of the West. I've never had a bad experience with them . Going through the drive through with my dog, they always give him a treat, and are always courteous with me. Will never change banks!

Don’t bother calling, they don’t actually answer their phone. Then when you get there, turns out they don’t know what their services are. Opened my account with them about a year ago, and they made a mess of that by linking the account to my father’s name and his account rather than mine as a completely different person. Pretty sure I shouldn’t have an open account here anymore.

I just tried cashing a Bank of the West check and they said it'd be $7. LOL huhh?! So ghetto.. And for ghetto, I can cash it at Walmart for $3 👍
