Bank of the West Main St, Los Lunas

I am totally disgusted with this bank . Poorest service I have ever experienced. I live in Jubliee and went to this bank few days ago to get smaller bills to give money to my grandkids. Had $100 bill and needed change. Thought that as it was close to my home ; a good place to get change. This bank refused to change my $100 bill because they said since I didn’t have an account there. I would NEVER deal with this bank again. Totally rude unreasonable staff. Never heard of a bank refusing to change CASH. Would be different if I wanted to cash a check but CASH. What a terrible place. Run from there : don’t do business there Went to NM Bank and Trust by Starbucks and they were polite and gave me change with no problems. Totally professional people. Don’t like to see businesses get away with bad service!!!!

The worst customer service you will experience from Nicole!! I’ve had an account open with them since 2003, I tried to deposit and get cash back and every time they give me a hard time. This time because a teller misunderstood her manager, they refused to give me cash and when I asked to close my account they said okay with no apology or anything to ask why and when I brought this to their attention and they realized it was a misunderstand they still didn’t apologize. I literally had to leave and drive to Abq to cash my check and guess what they gave me money back. These ladies really need to learn their jobs! If I could negative stars I would. And then they have to nerve to tell me I’m rude!! Like I need to be nice after they refuse to give me money!

So much for local bank relationships to help with this COVID-19 mess. You instead get to deal with out of state people who could care less about helping you. Many small business owners in Los Lunas are going to suffer because of incompetency at local branches. I'm going to be taking all of my money and accounts somewhere else. Cassandra Collins and Russell Griego both need to go! My wife has also had 3 re-schedules with Cassandra to help fix our son's savings account. So when will we fix it? They will use Covid-19 to further their incompetence and lack of customer service abilities.

Russell went out of his way to help me. It shocked me and made my day.

This branch of Bank of the West has consistently shown me a) incompetence, b) a refusal by manager to return phone calls, c) an inattention to detail, d) poor drive-thru service. Did I leave anything out? Oh yeah, many hours wasted clearing up their mistakes. Don't walk away from this branch--run--and do your banking somewhere else.

Waited in drive thru for 15 minutes the 1 teller she was very rude unprofessional. I like botw but I'll never go to Los Lunas branch ever again!

I would never chose to do business with Bank of the West after having to deal with Russell Griego in the Los Luna’s branch. He is inconsiderate and unprofessional. I am sitting here right now for an appointment He scheduled that I had to take off work for and he can’t even be bothered to get here. The only reason I am doing anything here is because my grandfather passed away and I am in charge of handling the estate. The only place we have had any issues is with Bank of the West. Griego should be ashamed of himself but he isn’t even smart enough to know that.

We have been banking there since they opened. Always professional assistance. I would highly recommend this bank.
