Bank of the West Hubbell Ave, Des Moines

Not only are they only open during normal work hours 9am -4pm but they are now also closed over the lunch hours 12pm -1:30pm including the drive thru. Definitely looking into other options. Ridiculous I'm not able to access MY money.

Placed a hold on part of our deposit, attempted to call and find out more. Branch number gives you the regional number and hangs up, regional number has you on hold for 30 minutes and hangs up. Hours don't accommodate work schedules. The cards they provide are cheap and fall apart within months time. Overall a really unpleasant experience. Once that check clears we are closing our account.

Spent a hour in line at this location on a Saturday. All locations that are close are closed. Been thinking about closing my business account and after today I will definitely close the account.

This is the worst branch for Bank of the West. Every time I've come they are rude and unprofessional. If they don't have good customer service they shouldn't be working at a bank in my opinion. The other branches are great!

This Bank of the West on Hubbell is very unprofessional. I called there number 10 times and never once got a person on the phone. I will NEVER recommend this branch site to anyone that does business with Bank of the West.

EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here branch is either close.... against what website says....or the drive thru lane is a minimum of a 48 minute wait. Worst experience ever but has become the closest branch. And people wonder why people go "postal". Customer Service non existent here.

Not sure why they close at 4 when’s it’s a bank and people have jobs. Not very customer focused. Makes me raise an eyebrow. Definitely considering closing my account with you guys.

I have bee with bank of the west for more the 10 year. So you would think that they know your banking history and how you use your account. Well I check my account and they let someone over draft my account over 1200 dollars. No anyone in their right mind knows that you yourself would not do it. So bank of the west accused us of doing it. No if you are a secure bank you should know your customers how the use their money. So they took the overdraft money and said we did it. Didn't call use or nothing. Oh they did say that we should call the people who did this. And the police report. The company they said was playstation. I am 58 and my husband is 60. I would we have a playstation. So no money back for us. I am changing banks so my account won't be overdrawn and be charged for it. I am telling everyone who banks with them watch your account. Cause you have it overdraft and you didn't do it. Don't worry they will say you did. That way they won't give you back the money they owe for getting it. THEY DIDN'T EVEN CALL US TO ASK IF WE KNEW ABOUT THE CHARGES. I CALL THEM A ASKED THEM. WATCH OUT.

Georgina Herman has great customer service and knowledge, she helped my wife and I get a checking account and joint savings. Also very friendly, I looking forward to banking with them.

If I could give them 0 stars I would. They’re soooo slow!
