Bank of the West Pacific Ave, Forest Grove

Branch is fantastic, employees are great. Never had any problems working with this branch, super helpful & knowledgeable. Online support is a whole other thing, definitely come in for help. Don't wait on hold the 2-4 hours 😥

Went in last night to open up a checking account as our old bank that we've been banking at for 16 yrs has horrible customer service. Dallas and Fran ended up having to stay late, absolutely made us feel so very welcomed and like they had nothing better to do. Just got a VM from Dallas regarding something we discussed last night. Amazing because I'm still waiting to hear from our old bank about an issue we've been trying to have them fix for several weeks now. Yep, made the right decision there. I left last night feeling very good about our new relationship with this bank and today just confirmed that feeling. Thank you Bank of the West for having the best employees!

I would like to share my experience with Bank of the West. I was customer for 30 years starting when they were Bank One. I recently closed my account because we moved to Idaho and there none in Post Falls. I was a very happy customer for all those years! They never treated me like a number as the big banks do, I was always greeted with a smile and kind word! When were in Forest Grove to visit we closed our accounts business and personal. In the process a mistake was and our account was overdrawn and the account sent to collection, but as they have always done I called the Forest Grove branch and within 2 hours it was made right as I knew it would be. I just want to thank all the folks at the Forest Grove branch and wish we could have continued banking with Bank of the West!

Rated 0/10 This bank is awful, they overdraft you even if you request no overdraft on your accounts, then charge you late fees for thier mistakes... also, if you shut your account down, you can still apparently get your card charged even if your account is closed... Worst bank I have ever had, terrible service, poor customer relations, and a system designed to con the average working individual out of thier hard earned money... I advise to not only avoid banking here, but to ensure your friends and family know how truly awful Bank of the West is, and to make sure nobody experiences the same extortions and pathetic 'services' I have.

This bank is the worst. The people are rude, they don't care about the customers at all. They have hidden fees for what should be a free account. I will never bank with them again and I will encourage everyone else to stay away from them. They should be shut down. They are simply a greedy company literally all about the stupid dollar. Remember people it's there job to take your money from you

The staff is extremely friendly and do what they can to help. They are more of a business bank but in the last year they've begun to offer products that cater more to the general public. Banking is objective, so go in and find out for yourself if it's a place you want to keep your money. There will always be people who screw up their own finances and leave negative reviews because it's easy to blame others, but this branch is full of people who are ready to serve and I implore you to give them a thought when considering a financial institution.

Usually at the branch I have amazing customer service. Today when I call to find out why I was locked out of my account I was told it was company wide. Which I totally understand. However I felt the gentleman speaking with me rushed me off the phone. I did get my answer but I felt very rushed and my call wasn’t important
