Bank of the West Washington St, Thornton

I should have read the reviews before walking into this bank. The teller who Initially engaged me for my banking need was nice, but the woman who is in charge of opening accounts is extremely rude. She raised her voice and started yelling at a potential future customer! I left the bank after talking to the ineffectual manager. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU CAN GET in a bank! Will not consider banking with them again! You are warned, read the other recent reviews too; Don’t bank with them, do not recommend them.

Gina Grimm is and has been one of the most helpful people I have had the pleasure to work with. She is very personable and knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with!

I’ve only come a few times on Saturdays, but Monica always gives good service. I appreciate that she works here.

Terrible and unprofessional service. Is "drive through only" has one lane open, line of cars around the block. Sat waiting for service for nearly an hour because they refuse to open another lane. Will never use this bank again.

Branch Manager of this location wouldn't notarize a bill of sale for us even though we are account holder. The gentlemen selling us our snowmobile wasn't an account holder. We were all from out of state. She was very rude. We walked to Wells Fargo 10 steps which no one had an account at...they notarized no questions. No wonder Bank of West is losing business, it's managers like this!

I’ve been banking with this bank for the past 5 or 6 years and for the most part they have been a great place to bank with. I don’t know if it’s just this location or what, but they are never open when they are suppose to be and are always having some sort of issues with their “systems”. I’ve tried coming to the bank 3 or 4 time this month for cash withdrawals and their Lobby has been closed every time for various issues. Then I try using their drive thru atm and that “can’t dispense money at the moment” next time I come back I’ll be closing my account. I have no issue with the ppl that work here, they are great and the reason why I want to stay, but after today that’s not happening.

Careful of the Any Deposit Checking. Sounds simple to make a deposit every month, but the $10 fee will start racking up quickly if you change something up and forget the requirement. I only even had the checking account because they wouldn't let me use my actually good checking account with a credit union to pay credit card bills. Wells Fargo style of making you get multiple accounts. Worth avoiding.

Only allow commercial accounts to be allowed in lobby. I have some checks I needed to deposit from from girlfriend she was signing over to me. Asks us to go through drive-through. So it requires more then just going through the drive-through. Ending my accounts with them. They only care about accounts that make they money. Disgusting customer service.

Service sucks. Mobile banking never works due to 'routine maintenance'. Better have a free hour if try to call customer 'service'. you'd be better off keeping your money in an old mattress: it would probably make better interest.

Tyler’s customer service was very poor! Didn’t even try to help with my situation, he was very brief and showed no care or concern for the matter...which was a very simple fix! Bank of the West is a great bank, but I would not recommend the branch on 120th and Washington! H
