Bank of Oklahoma W Main St, Norman

I don't recommend the app or opening a bank account with Bank Of Oklahoma. They will hold your funds for over a week on your first deposit, so if you have bills to pay be prepaid to behind or evicted because they will not lift the hold for any reason. They do not care about their customers. I recommend using something along the lines of Chime. For the first deposit I had instant access to the funds. Don't let their mobile check deposit and other advertised benefits fool you into their trap. I have been a law enforcement officer in the state of Oklahoma for 9 years. I proudly served and protected the citizens of a small town. Unfortunately being a small town I do not have access to direct deposit. I decided to try Bank Of Oklahoma and instantly regretted it. They flat out lied to me and told me they could have the hold releases on an earlier date and when I called again the hold period had increased. I don't do my job for the money but it puts a roof over my head that I could now possibly lose due to this Bank's ridiculous hold procedure that they claim is supposed to help me.

This is the slowest bank in America they don’t know how to get people their money and have the lobby close. If you have any other options for banking I would recommend you not go here

Service is always good and they take care of whatever your needs are in a timely manner

This bank is terrible the worst bank I’ve ever been to I have to wait in line for a long time you have to show them your ID to get change for a business I don’t own terrible inconvenienc I would not recommend this bank to anyone

I had a great experience with this branch. I came in to open a new checking account. The gentleman that assisted me in opening the account was Dedrick. He was very helpful as well as professional. He explain things very clearly. He answered all the questions I had to my satisfaction. He saw to it that I was comfortable while at this location. He offered me something to drink on several occasions. I definitely appreciate those offers. I have a service dog and he even offered to get some water for my dog. This location is also kept clean and neat. I definitely had a great first experience here. I feel that each visit after will also be great. I look forward to growing a strong relationship with this bank. I was also promptly and courteously greeted when I first came in.

Went in today to cash a check. Jerk at the counter gave me lots of grief using my OK DL and a state issued OMMA Transport license, as well as other forms of id. Attitude from the start - recommend using any bank but this one.

Michelle Chen gets 5 stars (out of 4) for being a Senior Relationship Banker with Bank of Oklahoma in Norman. She talked me out of cashing in a CD early that would have drawn a penalty. I am so impressed with Ms. Chen that I transferred $10,000 from my credit union into one of her CDs. She makes me feel good even while thinking of her service. I prefer her as my banker.

I opened an account with BOK when I moved to Oklahoma because they were down the street from my office. I've been a customer for many years now because they are the absolute BEST in the business. Not only is their friendliness and customer service unmatched, they are super knowledgeable and always go above and beyond to ensure their customers have a great banking experience. From mobile and online banking to telephone and in-person transactions, BOK never disappoints. Honestly, who can say they love their bank? THIS GIRL.

I’m currently in the drive thru and have been waiting about 25 mins for them to come back and tell me I’m missing items. I don’t bank here and they don’t answer their phone to answer questions. This isn’t my only time here, I’ve waited over 35 mins before. They are the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. I took the time here to warn others.. I would strongly advise against banking or doing business here.

I have no doubt some people may have had a bad experience with Bank of Oklahoma. But I've been with them now 2 years and never had an issue. Even with knowing and managing to never let my checking account get below the base fund it requires to prevent any fees. Maybe I'm one of the lucky few who actually enjoys banking with this bank. I was with a credit union for 13 years before switching and to this day, I have no regrets.
