Bank of Colorado 19th St, Denver

NOT recommended for Business Banking. We inquired about switching banks for our business where we keep high daily balances and and use various treasury products. I spoke to someone on the phone who said I must come in for a face to face meeting which was fine. I come in for the appointment and the teller at the counter had me fill out a very basic questionnaire about our banking needs. I was a bit surprised as typically you have a business banking specialist, not a counter teller, who actually gets to know you and your business. I asked questions about their products and services and the individuals could not answer most but he said he would get back to me with answers. The meeting last about 15 minutes. He did get back to me and answered the questions. Their products and pricing are not very competitive for business/commercial banking. They also did not show much interest in gaining our business nor do they seem to have any flexibility on pricing. I was very disappointed as they claim to be a small local community bank. In the end we found a much better solution with another small bank to avoid the big 3 and we are very happy. I would not recommend Bank of Colorado at all and will not consider them in the future.

Recently opened a joint account and could not have had a more enjoyable experience. Dana at the downtown Denver branch is a true asset to your company.

I really enjoy working with the bankers here. They are helpful and take your requests seriously and respond promptly. Ask for Mari - she printed me a debit card on the spot when I told her the one I activated over the phone wasn't working and with proof of funds paperwork. She is very pleasant.

Will not honor the terms on your account. Do not bank here and expect to be able to use your accounts. Overdraft protection is a lie, your bills will not get paid. When y ppl u get paid by direct deposit, expect to get it when they are ready.

Went into the downtown branch to open a business account small shiny bald guy right behind the counter as you walk in couldn't of been more rude. I'd suggest getting someone else to greet potential customers. Made me feel extremely unwelcome. Walked right out and went somewhere else. Guy is a smug idiot. Can't stand people like that.

I have been banking with bank of colorado for about 8 years or more. Everything have been going EXCELENT until this person name TARA at the downton branch have done things to our accounts that she did not told us she did...I am SUPER MAD, and four sure canceling my accounts, its sad because i did really like this this bank but for 1 person can definetly change everthing....
