I'm a very recent immigrant and was trying to set up a bank account yesterday. I was turned away from a lot of places because I've only been here a handful of days and have limited documentation showing my address and haven't got my SSN yet. Everywhere else turned me away but this Bank of America was able to work with me and set up a bank account which is a huge help for me. Not only that but they were very helpful explaining how things worked and how to move my money into a US bank account and explaining how things work differently here. There might well be some problems here in other ways but my experience was great. If you've just moved to the US and you're in your first few days setting things up this is the best place to go, at least of the 5 banks I tried in the area.

Genuinely the worst bank I've been to. 20 people in line and 1 teller. This bank should be shuttered. The line is always long. There are always tellers missing. The drive through banking is always closed.

Walked in on 9-12-18 about 12:45 to get a new ATM card, 2 other ladies came in over the next 15 minutes, after being there about 20-25 minutes, an employee asks both ladies if they need help, and then I left. No one could even bother to acknowledge me or even make eye contact. 20 plus minutes in a bank and it was like I was invisible. Also, NOBODY knows if or where to sign in. Community Bank, here I come...

This Bank of America is very unprofessional. I am veteran who have used this bank for years. I moved to DC for a doctoral program and my mom has been getting my disability checks for 2 years. She told me she always walk in to deposit my check their is a man with glasses is consistently rude to here and act like he can't find my account. She always use another teller or a manager to avoid him which I think is ridicoulous. He should do his job. She went in last week and the line was long so she decided to try and use him again. The manager who normally help her was not in. When she got to the register he begin to talk loud and told her he couldn't find my account. I have been using this bank for years. He said previous manager didn't work there anymore and the new manager didn't even check to see if she could find my account. They never deposited the money it to my account and stood by the door while my mom walked out and she was embarrassed. I tried to call for 4 days and couldn't get anyone. I couldn't help but think what happen to elderly people or people with limited mobility who are not able to schedule appoints to go to bank of America. This was the only way you could contact someone in the bank. I am pulling all of my accounts from Bank of America. This bank is a disgrace to the company.

I’ve heard of “banking hours” but to close at 3pm...? Come on now! Only someone with a lunch break long enough or job close enough can use this bank. I know I go to work before it opens, not able to leave my job site at lunch (not a BOA around my work), and the bank closes before I get off work (a lot of people can’t go, school isn’t even out yet at 3pm)... so I believe it would be in my best interest to use another bank. BOA is working the banking hours of banking hours! 🤦‍♂️ I gave it 2 stars though because of the time I was able to go (when I opened my account) the lady that helped me was a sweet lady! Otherwise it would have gotten only 1 star.

I opened an account three weeks ago and can’t receive any customer service representative on the phone. I spent hours to open the account. The manager who opened the account was nice. There is no opened drive thru. I ordered checks and never got them. Now I need the checks and still don’t have any.

The worst experience by a bank ever. Cant cash a company payroll check with out stealing their precious processing fee if you are not a account holder. Also they run no drive thru banking only inside. They have 2 tellers when the bank was build for more then that. WORSE BANK IN BEAUMONT.

If I could give zero stars I would. If you need to go inside, go ahead and take the whole day off because that’s how long it’s going to take. I am switching banks. This bank doesn’t care about its customers at all.

They closed the drive thru and night deposit and lobby closes at 3pm. This place has absolutely no value in customer service. And they sold my home loan with no notice or to even give me the option of refinancing with another financial institution. These are the reasons I haven't used a bank in almost 20 years. Only credit union now. I hate bank of America.

20 people in line. Friday at 1:30. Not enough employees. It appears Bank of America has a real problem understanding customer service. And are promoting web banking automated services and remote tellers. So sad. I have to move my banking to someone who really cares about my needs
