Called the branch this morning for help with setting up digital payment after my debit card was canceled due to fraudulent charges. The girl who answered the phone stated she was too busy to help me, that customers were waiting in the lobby, and that they take priority over phone calls. She suggested I call another branch. I won't call another branch, but I will come in to close out my accounts and take my money to a bank that understands the stress involved in having my identity stolen, and will show some sympathy and take time to help a customer, even when they can't make it into a branch. Terrible customer service.

My daughter moved away about six months ago. Per her request I sold several items. Tried to deposit cash into her account and it’s against their policy as I’m not on the account. This is a ridiculous policy as it could affect many situations.

I don't like the way this particular branch of the bank is designed. It's on the end of a strip center just off of Randall Road at Geneva Commons. The space is too narrow, the transaction counter & teller work space seems poorly-lit and off-putting. The staff are nice enough, so this isn't a negative to reflect on them. It just strikes me as strange that Bank of America closed several much better locations in order to save this particular branch, when it seems like they just shoe-horned it in as an afterthought. Again, the staff is friendly enough, but if the Geneva location by WalMart and the St. Charles location off of Kirk and 64 hadn't been open when I originally established my accounts, there's no way that I would ever have opened any accounts with Bank of America, because the way this branch is laid out drives me crazy and seems uninviting.

This is the slowest bank I have ever been to. I have never gotten through the drive thru in under 15 minutes and that’s with either one car in front of me or NO one in front of me. They only ever have one person running the counter and they seem to believe that they need to take care of everyone that is inside and make the drive thru wait until they’re done. You would think they would rotate between the lobby and the drive thru, considering there is only one or two cars waiting there versus the 6 customers in the lobby. They have no problem telling you that there are 8 people in front of you inside and it’ll be a few minutes. They are not apologetic what so ever, only giving you all the ways you can bank without having to come in in person. So unacceptable.

They turned me away because it was 10mins before closing time and since I was closing an account they didn't care to lose a customer anyways. Poor customer service and selfish staff.

Poor customer service. Bought car, asked BOA to notarize docs. Since seller not a BOA acct holder they wouldn’t do it. My son and I, buyers, are acct holders, so is wife. Horrible that they couldn’t notarize. One can only assume their greed drives this and they wanted seller to become acct holder (his dad is). Went across street to UPS and they did it, willingly, and didn’t even charge. Shame on you BOA. Customer for decades. No reason why you couldn’t notarize. You don’t need any more info than UPS notary does.

Tami was a pleasure to work with. I was then helped by another employee in their office. I was mandated to wear a mask, sit across the room, and have my ID fully wiped & disinfected... Covid does not even survive on surfaces. The CDC and Illinois health guidelines stipulate vaccinated individuals do not need a mask. It is time for the sheep to stop drinking the hysteria juice.

    Response from the owner

Hello Ryan. Thanks for sharing your positive experience with Tami. We're sorry to hear that the rest of your experience didn't meet your expectations. Your feedback and business are truly appreciated. ^michael

Understaffed and the manager on duty was extremely rude and unhelpful. I wish the Batavia branch was still open. Having one teller for both the drive up and inside the building is unacceptable. This branch now has to serve a much larger client base and is not equipped to handle it.
