Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) NY, Newburgh

Absolutely unacceptablely bad level of "customer service" here. I would not bank here if it was the last bank on earth, and only had the displeasure of dealing with these jokers while trying to help an elderly relative get their mortgage paid while they have been unwell and unable to do so themselves. Multiple unhelpful trips later and still not able to resolve the simple matter of accepting payment.

I have to say that my experience with the Bank of America consultant was amazing. Kathie was absolutely PHENOMINAL answered all my questions and not only truthfully but and in both English and Spanish. She definitely made it fast detailed and efficient. Gracias thank you!

My boyfriend had a money transfer by the bank to western union approximately 2800.00, well the transfer was canceled shortly after sending it. Well he wanted the money back since the transaction was canceled and he was told the bank had to call western union, the man on the phone was so rude and abnoxious with him it's ridiculous! He was on hold for western union for over 10 hours one day, 6 hours the next and averaging anywhere from 6 to 10 or however long he can hold without them disconnecting him! He needed that money to fix his transmission, now because it's been 2 weeks and no money his transmission is shot. He was stranded a state away not to mention needing shoes for his son for school. Isn't this illegal!? How can the bank not give him his money? How can western union not return his money? Someone e is at fault here and someone needs to answer his calls because I have witnessed all these calls which are all made at different times and each day of the week. I td him maybe contact the FTC, FCC, Attorney General, Better Business bureau and possibly the news reporters that look into stuff! This is criminal and needs to be corrected. For the record it was not Newburgh location It was their toll free number I'm fact he sitting on hold again because the woman who answered after a really long wait disconnected the call!

Just had to go in and change My debit card because it was getting ready to expire, Very sanitary and the wait was only 5 minutes at the most and they kept apologizing. This really is a good bank and it doesn't matter where I go whether it's in Newburgh, Middletown ,Schenectady all the people that greet you at the door, Right down to the tellers are always polite. . And best of all, is Knowing my money is safe .

Horrible teller was asked if we could cash a check made to my husband from his job that has an account with the bank she was like No ! No! do you have an account here we told her no she was like thats over the limit we cash checks for we have cashed checks at many banks an never had this problem she basically turned us away never offering if we wanted to open up an account there she told us go to our own bank if I wanted to open an account there i wouldn't after that she was very rude

This is 100% the worst bank you can choose in life. They rob you they do not stand up to their word they do things without any explanation I’ve had this account open over 5 to 6 months and it’s been nothing but hell and robbery I am presently dealing with a lawsuit because of a check that they took from me did not clear on my account Health for one whole week and then some but yet took the money out of the Client account and have the nerve to tell me that the money was not verified but the client showed me proof that the money was taken out as I said the worst bank you can ever choose I would sell my soul to help people not choose us bank

Noemi Gutierrez really spent time to make sure I was prepared for the Homebuying process. She responded quickly to my emails and calls, she was very knowledgeable, and made sure I was on the correct path for closing. Although I started with a different BofA rep, both of these representatives left me with a good taste as to how Bank of American helps their clients. I recommend this bank for new homeowners!!

Saw the bad reviews and thought, it’s a bank how bad can it be? I was wrong. Truly one star, don’t waste your time here.

I must say I had a great experience at Bank of America in Newburgh. I was nervous after reading all the negative reviews. I went in to open up an account for my 16 year old son. Reynaldo was professional, knowledgeable and very helpful. He explained all the features of the account and even assisted him in downloading the mobile app to access his account. I will definitely do future business at this Branch.

Tellers are rude, even though you're the one that has to wait forever to make a deposit. Worst bank in the area by far, youre better off driving 30 minutes to a different bank since you'll be waiting in line all that time anyway.
