I am a customer with a motgage and two acccunts with this bank About 2 o clock today Wednesday.an old lady in the bank stopped to me before going the line I explained that I going to withdrawal money from my checking acct., so unfriendly and ungry she answers me that I need my phone with me, but she never mentioned about my ID , which is the general rule. escorted me all the time, blocked my way to the line. She was so rude that I felt Embarrassed and I had to leave. I wont come back any more to this branch. She looked like a discriminative woman.

This bank does not have a coin star machine and requires its retail customers to roll their own change in order to deposit it. I just waited in line for 30 minutes to learn this. Once again BOA cannot not do anything right. Are you really a bank?

Until today, I have had no issue bringing my payroll check to be cashed at this establishment. I have frequented this branch as well as the Hartford location on Maple Ave and the downtown East Hartford branch for the same purpose, again with no issue. I have used the same Passport for the past three years again with no issue. Suddenly today, the same identification is no longer accepted (it isn't expired, valid until 2023) because it "doesn't meet our guidelines". Upon inquiry "I can't tell you why, it just doesn't". At least give me the two ID form run around like Glastonbury instead of this utter, discriminatory nonsense. I will be filing a complaint.
Hi, We review how we do business on a regular basis, and make changes, when necessary, to ensure that we can provide the best possible protection for our clients’ accounts. Cashing large checks for non-clients is an area where we've enhanced protections for our clients. You can negotiate the check with your financial institution. If you are interested, I would be happy to have someone speak with you about becoming a client, please connect with our Social Media Client Care team on Twitter at https://twitter.com/BofA_Help or Facebook https://www.facebook.com/BankofAmerica. Don't include account numbers or Social Security numbers for security reasons and check to ensure you are using our verified accounts. ^sam

The tellers were very nice and friendly, but the service was soooo slooowww. They kept leaving their desks for no apparent reason while a huge line of people just waited.
We appreciate you coming in. You may be able to save time by using an ATM or by using our online banking or mobile app. Signing up for the mobile app is simple: https://www.bankofamerica.com/online-banking/mobile-and-online-banking-features/overview/

This bank just cheated me out of $45 for a fee for returning a wire that was correctly sent. Absolutely ridiculous. And then I tried to resolve it with them and they refused to help. They should be fined and put out of business for cheating customers. Never do business with BofA! I'd give them a zero stars if I could.

Thank you, both Lisa (manager) and Kevin for helping me re-opened my claim, which now has been resolved. Both were very friendly and professional. BOA is fortunate to have them.
Excellent! Thanks for sharing your experience and positive feedback about Bank of America. We value having you as a client. ^chris

Been coming to this branch for 5 years. Today, came to make a withdrawal and two tellers scrutinized my driver's license with flashlights for several minutes before telling me it "didn't meet their standards". So I went home and got my passport, waited in line again, and then was told I need two forms of ID (which they never mentioned before). They were able to use my phone as ID--again, couldn't mention that before I guess--but then made me stand aside for several minutes while they did... God knows what? And then we had to start completely over. I use BofA specifically because they are a national bank. Since I'm pretty sure the state didn't mail me a fake license, if it "doesn't meet their standards", they need to take it up with the state. If they can't handle an out of state license, what am I using them and putting up with their exorbitant fees for? I don't think I'll be visiting again.

Line out the door. My business requires me to see a teller. Not the first time. Unfortunately will be looking for another bank after 20 years with Bank of America.

If zero was an option that's what I would have given them. I open two business account and needed two different change bags and the teller gave me a hard time just to give me two bags. I am making a deposite into my own account and I have to show my ID and the reason for that according to the teller is because my business account is small and for bigger business account you don't need to show ID. Wow.. call this same office and waited 17 minutes for the bank Manager and no one came on I had the hang up. Banking now a days is so difficult.

The ATM is too high up. Can't reach the buttons without getting out of the car. Might work for semi truck drivers but not for the rest of us
