Terrible Customer Service. Not only did they try to turn me away at the door. They closed my account for withdrawing my own funds. Their reason is this "You used Zelle" a third party app that bank of america themselves promote all over their website/mobile app... I called about 20 times to only get hung up on or to get transferred to absolutely nowhere. Once a fax numher, second a disconnect, third another hang up. I Do NOT recommended this bank or this branch. The staff there are miserable an rude.

You get the general impression that bank headquarters has abandoned this branch. It was really run down looking until recently, when it got a sort of bare bones rehab. The outside ATM didn't work well, but finally got replaced, a few years too late. The cashiers seem unhappy. Lots of empty offices. It is as if B of A wished it didn't have to have a branch here. The local TD Bank is just a few tellers at the local Hannaford, but it is nicer and more attractive in every way than this so-called banking center. I feel sorry for the employees. B of A should close this branch and let be something better, like Burger King or Pat's Pizza. .

Don’t trust this branch with your money! Made a cash deposit on 7/15/19. I accidentally made a mistake by writing a wrong amount on a deposit slip leaving me $600 short of what I actually deposited. When I realized I made a mistake, the branch would not pick up their phone when I attempted to call them more than ten times!! So I had to drive all the way from Portland to Brunswick (30 mins drive) just to fix the situation. I understand it was my mistake that I put the wrong amount on the deposit slip, HOWEVER before the teller (nicole) finalized the deposit, she put my money in a money counter therefore she should have noticed that I made an error in the deposit slip. She also claimed that she tried to contact me several times, which is a LIE because I never recieved any missed calls from this bank. She probably thought I was born yesterday...

I have been a BOA customer for many, many years and have always had a pleasant experience however, since moving to Brunswick it has been nothing but awful. I have been trying to schedule an appointment with Will and never get a return call. Nothing but poor customer service everyone looks so miserable. I only wish there was a branch in freeport.

My husband and I were appalled by the service at Bank of America this afternoon. We've been very satisfied customers with BoA for many years...until today. My husband & I came in to get a document notarized, and we took a seat in the lobby. Two males were walking around in the lobby as if they were looking for something to do. They did not appear to be customer focussed. [And we are good customers]. What we wanted was a notary to sign on a document. One man (who seemed to be showing a new employee around) told us that the bank has one notary...who was busy). He told us to go to the UPS store, saying BoA would reimburse $7 (& the actual cost was $15). We found it odd both that there was only one notary and that the lobby "greeters" treated us so poorly.

I live an hour away from the nearest BOA, which is this one. So a total of 2 hrs of driving on a Saturday morning... If someone could actually answer the phone, before I drive there, so it’s not a waste of time ! 40 minutes and 8 calls, nothing. It opens at 9am, it’s 9:40am now, so I know you just don’t bother to answer the phone. Because you are not overrun at the point of unlocking your door. It’s just pure ignore mode.

I tried to go in and get quarters. I was told to wait for another teller as the first one was out of quarters. After 30 minutes of waiting I realized they forgot about me and had to get back in line again just get to the front and then wait for them to go and fetch the quarters after I came around the second time. I don't mind waiting my turn but being made to wait over half an hour for someone to walk to across a room and get quarters is bad service. I'll be going elsewhere in the future

Teller was extremely condescending to everyone she worked with. Also regularly looked off over their shoulder into the distance and refused to give more than short, curt answers to questions rather than actually explaining anything.

I drove one and a half hours to this location because it was the closest BOA location near me at the time and I needed to cash a check. The manager there wouldn't cash my check even though I had enough money to cover the amount written on the check. He was bsing with me the whole time and said there were fraudulent checks going around and that he wasn't going to cash my check. He didnt even try to call and verify the check and made me feel like a criminal at my own bank. Stay away from this location at all cost. They should shut this location down.

Professional, knowledgeable, and friendly staff. All three of the people with whom I spoke at the Brunswick Bank of America seemed to genuinely care about my business, although I am far from the biggest fish in their pond. Many thanks!
