Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Smith Ranch Rd, San Rafael

I have been banking with BofA for several years, additionally I worked for the institution back in the early 2000s, and I know what it takes to run a Bank, some times it is extremely difficult to please customers and keep employees happy; this due to “bank policies” and corporate “rules and regulations”. Now that I am a business owner I come to BofA often (about every other day) and the service here (Smith Ranch office) is the best, in the past year or so the service has improved tremendously, and the office has been remodeled. There are days when the branch is pretty busy, but the staff are friendly and helpful, the new Manager Marleny is highly skilled and always walking the entire office helping customer and employees. I would recommend this office to anyone looking to avoid the impersonal and callous nature of other offices or banks, the difference is night and day in the last couple of years.

Very rude staff, both teller and manager were rude. Husband has a first name that is too long to be printed on debit card, this is the only branch that gave him a hard time about the fact that on his card is shortened first name. Wasted over an hour and did not apologize.

UPDATE as of July 16, 2021. This Bank of America Branch is open again to normal hours.

Will be cancelling my Bank of America accounts because of long waits and rudeness of mangager laura, who wouldn't even give me her last name. She was incapable of opening up a extra teller booth.

Went in to get do balans transfer waited over in our for the two people before me and then they went to launch the worst bank ever.

Went in to get a direct deposit form, waited in line for 15 min for the teller to instruct me to wait on the couch for someone else. When I spoke to another employee she sent me back to the end of the line I just came out of. Then the teller tells me to, "get checks" for an account that doesn't even offer checks as a feature. Wasted my entire lunch break trying to get a piece of paper. Other BofA locations have had NO PROBLEM printing this for me in the past. Thanks for your incompetency and rude attitude, Marin BofA!

As a regular customer, the experience I have is quite a roller coaster. Also, this branch is the best example of banks needing a specially designated separate bull____ line.

Depressing branch, depressing service. Front desk team is a bit like a McDonald drive-in experience: Not really courteous or polite, not really pleased to serve customers, not really happy to be here... :)) Smile dear humans or soon you’ll be replace by machines. ;)

We are not BOA customers, but had to use them for a family issue. Shiva, at this branch, was more than helpful in answering all of our questions!

Not possible to call this branch, you should wast lots of time and finally hang up
