Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

I wish I could give negative stars. This bank has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The line is always long and there are just a couple of tellers working. I am a business customer and I had an incident with the teller yesterday. I was frustrated and had been waiting in a line for a long time. It's a long story but instead of dealing with the situation in a professional manner, the teller was rude, agumentative and confrontational. I was there to make a deposit to cover payments I made on this account and then I am going to close the account. I do not think anyone here cares about the customer experience and if they can be helpful. I have never left there feeling like it was a good experience. I opened a business account at Frost Bank and it has been such a great and welcome change. I am greated with a smile and everyone there seems to be helpful and nice. I feel like they appreciate my business. I can't wait until all my payments have cleared my Bank of America account so I can close it and be done with this terrible company.

We loved the attention of Mr. Jonathan, they attended to us on time and answered all our questions, the best that he speaks 2 languages and it was easier for my husband and for me that we are a multicultural couple.
Hi Virginia. Thanks for letting us know how helpful Jonathan was during your financial center visit. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know what we’re doing well. ^susan

Such a terrible bank, not with bad service. There's no service. I'm not talking about this location, rather the entire entity itself. Trash bank. Go to Frost Bank instead where you can call someone quicker than your mom.

If Bank of America was really concerned with COVID-19 safety protocols they should open up the drive thru tellers. That would be a better solution than having customers in the lobby wearing mask. Other local banks have drive thru tellers, customer service is a joke at BOA.

This is the second time in a row I've had to come into this branch and wait in a line of over 15 people with only two tellers working in the 6 available windows. Makes what should be a 5-10 minute wait take 30 minutes or more. The staff work hard and are friendly, but the management needs to figure out how to staff better for a more efficient process for bank patrons.

Wouldnt reccomend using this bank. Went here for years, the staff doesnt really help you as much as they use to in person. When you first walk in the lady at the front has a pretty bad attitude which makes for an uncomfortable and awkward experience. Lines are usually pretty long so there's a wait. If you need to call this location it can be difficult to get though to someone so if you have questions you'll most likely have to go inside and wait for a bit. This bank was great years back but it's really not like it use to be. The customer service over the phone is good though so there is that.

BEFORE YOU GO -- PREPARE TO WAIT. I always have to wait a long time when I go there, today a young man coming out the door as I went in said, "Prepare to wait at least an hour.." to me as I walked in. He was right. There is a very crowded area just inside the front door where they "sort" their customers. There were 7 people ahead of me and no one helping. I observed that the employee who would be helping was working on a copier which appeared to be broken. Finally, he returned, gave a copy to a customer and moved to the next in line. A few minutes later another employee came to help (at this point there were more customers waiting). This employee ignored the waiting line, and to everyone's surprise, asked a person who was racially similar to her (but far from next in line) if she could help her. That woman seemed as shocked as I was but took advantage of the situation. Once my turn finally came up, I was sent the next queue, up the hall and around the corner. There were 14 people waiting and I only observed 1 available teller. I try to do all my banking online, and this bank's poor personnel management and inability to get customers in and out is exactly why.

Very busy, crowded space .Long lines, very little parking.very nice people but not very helpful if you have a complex issue..I was not able to solve my problem entirely.Much of their help was to give you a phone number to call.

Can I give 0 stars? First of all they issue people a check that you cant cash at your own bank, then they charge you $8 to cash it there. What’s the point? Second they have a 30 min line for you to stand in because they’re drive thru is not open. And only one person working at the actual window while all the other workers are just standing around. Why would anyone bank here? Worst bank ever

Overall - 3 stars Bank Features - 5 Stars Offers more than any bank and the most locations, including Merrill Edge/Private Wealth. Competitiveness - 2 Stars Credit Cards - if you have platinum honors are amazing with rewards (travel, cash, etc) Savings Accounts - amongst worst in the industry. Does not compare to online savings rates and CDs other banks and financial institutions offer. Checking - Not bad but subject to fees. Wide availability. Cleanliness, Safeness, Appearance - 2 stars Wouldn't go here at night and inside looks dated. Prefer not to be here in the day.

I needed to go inside Bank of America to deposit a check. So a nice young lady just inside the lobby told me she could help. I had tried that new mobile app which did not work for me. We went to her office and in a short time she had it deposited. As it turned out she helped me on another account that needed a change as well. Very courteous and helped in a timely matter. I have been with this bank for 40 years now, it has changed management and personnel over the years as do all banks. Do I miss sitting in the drive through in my truck with no AC and 102 deg.? Not really. It was a big help for some folks though. Sure some tellers may be having a bad day but that should not be directed at or show to the customer. On the other side you should not expect the parking spot in front of the bank to always be empty just for you. Or to walk in and one teller waiting to only serve you. They are there to help all of us with our banking needs. Some folks are just grumpy before they get to the bank. If you know you have to go to the bank try to Plan Ahead. Patience is lacking in a lot of folks lately.

I’ve had Bank of America for about 8 years now. Not many complaints as a whole. Only complaint would be it generally takes an hour or more when you go to the branch location because you can’t do whatever it is you’re trying to do online. Place always has a line and long waiting. Typically only spend 5-10 minutes with the employee to get whatever I needed done.

My car was broken into and my wallet, drivers license, paycheck, and credit card were stolen. When I tried to cash the check the manager didn't even take 2 seconds to say no. I understand there are rules but when I have a case number and I card to reach the officer who filed my report and you can't even take the time to contact them that's awful service. Now I have to wait a week for a new credit card or license to be able to use any of my money. Thank you bank of america for making my new banking choice easy.

Horrible service!!! Is open on Saturday from 9-2 but only lobby not drive through - even though they are standing in the same area. Waited in line for 45min to make a deposit. There were 4 tellers and what I assume as a supervisor was standing behind them. One teller stopped helping people and was behind the others doing something (not sure what); there was another person/supervisor walking around the lobby hanging up posters!!!! What is going on???? Why wouldn't you add more people to get the line down and then once that is caught up go back to hanging up posters. Very frustrating standing in a long line and seeing other employees just chilling or not helping the situation!!! However it's not much better during the week in the lobby or drive through!! I regret that we ever opened a business account with them. We will be seeking business elsewhere come Monday!!!!!

Been doing business with this bank for 12 years now an they are terrible for business loans. I am removing our business and going elsewhere. They have you spend hours and hours promising you that they can provide options for small business but after they waste months of your time they email you saying they basically lied and cant do anything they promised. If you own a business you need to run away from this bank.

I have been a BoA customer for over 20 years. I have been happy with the company and have several accounts with them. This particular location in Conroe is the absolute worst BoA I have ever had to visit. They've made everything so efficient to the point that going in to see a teller or actual banker is a rarity for me. However, on those occasions when I do need to speak with an actual person, it is near impossible to have that happen efficiently. I've made appointments to see bankers before and still ended up waiting up to an additional 45 mins after my appointment time before they call me back. Yes, I do eventually get the help I need but who has time to sit there for so long, even after scheduling an appointment? The lines for the tellers are no better. Forget stopping in here for any quick errand and you can also forget any of the people here to have compassion for your schedule. They do not respect your time and are not going to do anything to change things. Last time I was there, someone was complaining and the banker told the guy that "it is what it is. We already have 6 tellers." and he just shrugged as he continued on to his desk. Meanwhile, the line was just about to reach outside the door..until people got fed up and started walking out...myself included!
