Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Los Alamitos Blvd, Los Alamitos

I needed a notary and my branch in Long Beach does not have one, so I called the Los Alamitos branch (used to live across the street). I navigated the menu and no one answers. Ever. This is the second time within a week I've needed their services and needed to ask a question prior to driving over. Forget it, no one answers. I do not understand why someone cannot at least answer, take your name and call you back. Supposedly I'm a 'preferred customer'; I'd hate to see how a 'regular customer' is treated. After waiting 16+ minutes. I hung up, and WAS pleasantly surprised someone DID call back! I asked if a notary was available, was put on hold, and then told the notary was all booked---this at 9:30 A.M ! How long does it take for someone to review your document and notarize it, 10-15 minutes?! No, I'm NOT making an appointment next week, I need this notarized today. I ended up googling notaries nearby and within the HOUR, had my document notarized! Just lousy service all around, in my opinion, by Bank of America. And I have been a customer for decades, and have always loved them! But please, at the very least, ANSWER THE PHONE. Sometimes you have a question BEFORE you go online or drive over! When no one answers the phone, the message to me is, we don't need your business, and we will get to you whenever we feel like it. I hate to think I might need to shop around for a bank that WILL at least pick up the phone. Please be better than this. Thanks!

Went here end of May and needed to cash a large check. It was 5 min before close and the manager on duty I don’t remember her name I want to say Christine was very helpful in figuring out a way to help us and get us going. It was more than she needed to do because we were not Bank of America account holders and were being a smidgen difficult. Thank you for the help it was greatly appreciated .

I usually have to wait 30 to 45 minutes to be helped by a teller. What is the holdup?! The tellers are very friendly, but I wish there were more tellers to help, FYI, this applies to BEFORE the pandemic.

50 people in line, 5 people directing people where to go, 6 bankers sitting around doing nothing, and 2 tellers. Genius.

I totally agree that it's the worst branch !!!! Incredible long waiting while Mexicans tellers are just checking emails and others things on their computers creating long lines of customers. The worst costumer service!!! and the supposed to be manager from today in the morning, just more idiot than any other employee... zero education and availability to manage a Bank.!!! You really should close your branch!! By the way, I went there just to cash a check, of course I don't have an account with the worst bank on the planet!!!

One of the worst branches of BofA! They NEVER answer their phone, and some of the information on their website is wrong. Bad customer service all around!

Extremely long waiting line and the bank manager does no do anything about it. It does not hire more bank tellers nor direct his manpwoer where it is needed most

Again drive to an other location just to get a temporary card and they have no one to help me for 1 hour how horrible this is no bank can help you if you are in need of something rude stuff

They only have one person working who can do it wire transfer and the wait is over an hour?!? That's absolutely ridiculous.
