I recently visited here to withdrawal some cash around 11am during the week. I needed higher bills so I went inside to complete my request. The person behind the counter was quick and helpful. I was in and out with my cash in under 10 minutes. I had a good experience and will be back here next time I need to do some banking and I’m in the area.

Had an account here several years ago and was treated like garbage by the clueless and incompetent staff at this location. There was an error that I pointed out and was told I was wrong despite proof of who erred. They lost my business over failing to rectify a 12 dollar charge. Absolutely shameful. If you value your sanity and self respect, you won't use this bank. Whatever you do, AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!

After waiting more than 10 minutes each trying to reach the UVA Community Credit Union and then Wells Fargo Bank, I called this branch of BOA and a very polite human being answered almost immediately, with zero hold time. I was impressed.

I was able to get what I needed done but still felt it would be appropriate to remind people in the business of customer service that they are people and not robots. Helping a customer involves being personable. Repeating sentences that sound scripted and verbatim is degrading and worse than speaking to an operator. The teller was condescending, and instead of providing solutions and being more helpful she repeatedly said “you must have a check or money order when you bank with an outside bank.” And I understand that but the questions I was asking had nothing to do with what she repeatedly said. It’s almost like she didn’t hear my question and didn’t want to help. So just repeated her script. And as she did that I was able to make the transfer of $50 to my grandmother via my mobile app and honestly helped myself. Her name was Victoria, and she needs to be trained on customer service, and being personable.

This BoA does not have a home mortgage representative on cite. Nor do they have knowledgeable staff that can inform you as to which location a rep can be found. After stating that we would prefer to speak face to face with someone the banker said he would find out where we could do so, came back and preceded to call a gentleman at another location without any regard to our request. The entire call was practically a sales pitch when all we asked for was a qualifying letter. An hour or two after the call ended we received a voicemail for a different customer regarding a different request. So much for customer service and confidentiality!
