Super disappointed. Just trying to deposit cash. The customer service agent, who was very nice by the way, turned me away because it was a personal account rather than a business account. The problem is that they don't have tellers. But you will have a teller to take cash and deposit it from a business but not an person? Bank of America has always been so complicated. Now, I have to drive another 8-10 miles to make a deposit? Com'on man.

Completely and udder garbage of a bank I did not want to but only one that was able to open and estate account just to be lied to have black and white paper stating dates everything will be put on a hold and it will be put to the max days no one will help over 20 min on the phone even a supervisor said no they ain’t gonna call or anything to verify another banks check they say their check holds are subject to change but no where does it say that it says on the printed paper from this establishment a certain date not 7 more days from that day I asked what hd code c meant well sir I don’t know I would have to research it smh your suppose to know this they said sorry but nothing we can do your just going to have to wait an extra week for the check to clear they ain’t for the consumer or anyone holding an account they would rather just collect fees and such

I received an offer in the mail and decided to give this bank a try I was happy with my other bank having a 20 year relationship with them I started a new account at B of A and opened it with an escrow surplus from my mortgage company. When I deposited the check I was told there would be a 24 hour hold several hours later I receive an email saying they are going to hold my check for a week it was drawn on a financial institution and there is no way it is going to take a week for that to clear. In addition I have excellent credit and they already know that as they check when you open an account. I called and was told there is now a lock on that check and there is absolutely nothing I can do and it will not be available for a week. I wished I had not opened this account but I was not informed of this policy until several hours after opening the account. I won’t continue doing business with a bank that seeks to use my money for a few days before releasing it to me if it was a personal check or some unknown company I totally get it but this was a bank check written on a financial institution. I was also informed that when you are a new account holder they will place a hold up to 14 days on your first three deposits be forewarned! I would not do business with this bank! I’ll keep my business with Suntrust!

This bank does not allow someone to deposit Cash into someone's account unless your on the account...SAY WHAT...They are a bank. You can't deposit Cash that the government prints 🤔. So Frustrating...they made me feel like a criminal when all I wanted to do was deposit cash into this bank. They did finally allow me to make the deposit BUT only if I gave them my Driver's License. I will NEVER bank here....P.S. Run for the Hills 🏃🏃🏃🏃

5 trips to the branch to wait in line for 45 minutes, because their automated system does not recognize me, and locks out MY funds. Every time they say it is fixed. Now stranded at gas pumps. 6th trip is to another bank! Can we give 0 stars?

It’s pretty sad when you have to go online to check to see which days your BA is open! 2 weeks ago we checked and it said it was open. We get there and it says lobby isn’t open and to go to drive thru. Drive thru was closed too. No note on the door or drive thru stating why it wasn’t open. We called our Merrill Lynch rep for them to help us find a BA that was open. It’s ridiculous. If it weren’t for Merrill Lynch we would pull our checking and bank at a bank that’s open 5 days a week!

Horrible customer service. They removed the drive through tellers, as short of a line as there is on average it takes way longer than it should. Now if you are trying to deposit funds into someone elses account you must have an account with them regardless. I cancelled my bank of america account years ago due to their inability to process my paychecks properly. Will never go back to that scam of a bank again.

cannot give them Zero Star. Horrible customer service bank put a hold on my money for over 10 days could not pay my bills had to ask family for money to pay bills, I have not yet be able to get an answer why my money is on hold and do not know when I am going to get my money out. so I can get a new bank, went twice to the office and no one will give me any answer why my money is on hold. still waiting time to call Morgan and Morgan :)
