Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Reviews

Y’all people just love to bash on this place simply because of how long the wait times can be. I’ve never had a problem with the service here at all. Yes the lines get really long but that’s because y’all decide to come in at the same time when it’s at its busiest. If you don’t want to wait then simply go to another branch, there’s even another one located in McKinney that has almost no wait. The 2 tellers Justin and Andrew always provide me with excellent service.

I guess I had bad luck when visiting this branch. They were too slow, people coming in. I waited for some time, but line was still the same. I prefer just to leave and go to another branch.

Expect to wait 1+ hours to be assisted even with “appointment”. I’ve been a BOA customer 25 years and am seriously considering changing banks 🥺.

I came into this branch today because I had my wallet stolen with my ID and ATM card. The bankers were extremely rude and told me I should be more responsible and would not help me get a new card or withdraw any money. I have decided to end my banking with Bank of America as a result of this experience.

I visited this location years ago to deposit money to someone. I had little children in the truck and I found out that their Drive Through services were exclusively for account holders. Getting out of the vehicle was an inconvenience as this a highly trafficked area and other personal reasons. Later on, a client of mine mentioned to me that DT was now open to everyone. Well, I went last week twice, first time, to find out they have shut down their DT all together. Very bad news if someone is handicap and/or have mobility issues. The lobby closes at 4pm and I missed them by a few minutes. So I went back on Friday 05/14/21 to complete my business. The employees by the door were friendly and were able to expedite my transaction utilizing a tablet and that is why I’m giving BOA a second star. I would probably never consider them to bank with.

A few of the employees who work in the offices have been friendly and warm, but I would kindly suggest that they move the two men who are tellers into positions that don't deal with customers. They are probably wonderful people, but they don't understand the power and importance of a kind greeting and a smile (and conversely, the negative impact from the lack of warmth and caring). I used to be a teller back in the day, and I saw that the tellers set the atmosphere for the whole bank. They are far more important than they realize! (Perhaps with some training, these two young men could become the most amazing employees ever!) Thank you for listening! Now more than ever, people need the few interactions they are allowed during the day to be encouraging and uplifting!

The associates in this Bank are lazy and rude. To add, you will wait in line 20 minutes just to deposit a check.

Terrible customer service. They clearly do not care about their customers. They have no problem requiring their customer to wait and wait and wait even for the simplest things. I tried to make a simple deposit on behalf of my brother who has an account there. I stopped by twice and the line was out the door both times and I could not wait. No drive through open, ever I think. I stopped a third time and line out the door. I waited 15 minutes before 3-4 guys came out of the back to help the one cashier they had. While I waited, at least 6 people left out of line out of frustration. This is a poorly run branch.

I usually don't leave bad reviews but today was infuriating. First off, this location is constantly short staffed which results in being closed randomly during regular business hours which is infuriating. People need banking services and don't want to have to drive 40 minutes to the next closest full service location. Also, the young female teller with glasses and brown hair doesn't know how to smile OR follow directions; I went in to deposit funds from a payroll check, which are drafted on BofA checks, and requested $80 in my pocket for errands and the rest into my checking account so that it would be immediately available. I didn't notice until later that day that she deposited the remaining amount as a check (credit) and not as cash like I asked, so I have to wait the entire rest of the weekend until my funds are available. Stupidity. This company doesn't care about customer service. About ready to start banking with a different bank.

This place is terrible, every time I am here line is 10-15 people with one teller. I get that everyone is short staffed, but there are 3 managers sitting around when the teller line is 1 hour long.

They took away a ATM, after they took away drive through bank tellers, now it's just a nightmare every time you come here. Everyone wants to do their banking at the ATM now, takes forever just to get some money out. I'm bout to quit BOA all together

The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because of the employees. They are very nice. I make deposits almost daily for my job and I hate having to do it at this bank. There is NO drive thru and you can’t use the machines in the bank. You have to wait for a teller. Sometimes I get lucky and don’t have to wait very long but most of the time especially on Saturday the line is to the door. It’s ridiculous. And there is never more than 2 tellers. Something needs to be done. We’re not supposed to take more than 30 minutes for a bank run and it’s almost impossible sometimes to do that.

Doesn't deserve one star. BAD customer service! Slow as hell. Employees don't even make eye contact with anyone
