Multiple bad experiences at this branch....they don't honor scheduled appointments....ridiculously long waits to get a simple transaction done....Customer service is non existing...incompetent and unfriendly tellers ....the employees look and act like they don't want to be there, the teller gave me the worst attitude for not including the account number on my deposit slip....well, look it up...I was the only client in there!!

I had a bad experience with Bank of America on Main Street Danbury and was going to switch to a different bank. I went to this location and Gail went out of her way, above and beyond to help me. She is so sweet and helpful. She was so meticulous and explained everything so well. Bonnie was helpful as well. I will only come back to this location.
Thank you for the positive review about your recent experience with Bank of America, Donna. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know.

Worst service ever I have experienced of any bank in my lifetime. Incompetent managers and tellers. Quite amazing the constant inferior service and they simply do not care. I have written to the CEO and never received a reply. Will be changing my bank very shortly. They want to hear about the horrendous service and then they do nothing about it.

All they can do is tell you there is nothing they can do for you. Cogs in the machine, you might as well be talking to the corporate wall. Was a customer for 15 years but no more because there was nothing they could do

Bank of America closed the branch in my town, so Danbury BOA near walmart is now the closest location to where I live. So I started going there instead. It has been a laughably horrible experience every single time, but, not to say that's unique to this location. I avoided going there for years by making the best decision and using a different bank, but unfortunately I can't always avoid using my BOA account. Anyway I HAD to to go to the near walmart location again. Maybe they improved? No, they got even worse! It's been the same tellers working there for years and somehow they still don't know much about banking. Walking into this location feels like walking into a mean grandmother's house where she does everything at the slowest pace and curses kids these days for being impatient, while she's waiting to feed you cookies and then call you fat from behind her brooches and smelly perfume. But in this case you have three or four grandmas who are waiting to yell at you for filling out your deposit slip wrong. Fast forward to today, I didn't want to go to that bank so I was like, ok, i'll call. This is a pretty long review right? ... THAT'S how long I've been on hold waiting for Bank of America!!!!!!!

My mother passed away. I was sent all the legal paperwork and came into the bank to be told that they could not help me without an appointment. I made an a appointment; it was a week later. I had a scheduling conflict and called to see if I could move the appt to 11 am. I was told that it would be ok to come in at 11am, I arrive and wait to be told that there are 2 other 11am appointments and I need to reschedule, My mother is dead, I don’t want to be doing this and Bank of America thinks it is fine to waste my time. I had thought maybe I would keep an account with BOA. That won’t happen. I caution you not to use this brand-poor customer service and operation management.

No drive up banking... It seems there's always only one teller working whenever I come in... Not the most convenient hours... They keep trying to up sell me every single time I come in so that I have more reason to be inconvenienced....
