Bank of America (with Drive-thru ATM) Manchester Rd, St. Louis

I receive consistently terrible service from BOFA. I cannot believe the unreasonable holds placed on everything deposited, including Cashier's checks from large reputable financial institutions. I was told in the lobby at this location that BOFA caters more towards businesses and less towards individual consumers which is the reason for excessive risk mitigation. I took the same cashier's check to another bank and funds were available SAME DAY and they said, "it is because it's a cashier's check from a large bank, there would be no reason to hold this."

Priya is Great. Very helpful and patient with all of my questions and helped me set up my accounts. As well, all the staff has been helpful and I appreciate their attention to helping me anytime I walk in.

Two weeks ago my wife and I applied for a "Travel Card" from Bank of America as we are going to Europe in two weeks. I called the bank to find out when the card will arrive in the mail. (We have excellent credit.) The menu to reach a customer service person would only allows 7 rings before forcing you back to the main menu resulting in more number pushing. It eventually took approximately 20 minutes to reach someone. They, in turn, transferred me to the "credit card" department. The woman in the credit card department was quite irritating in that she asked for information beyond identification purposes. It took her about seven minutes to eventually say there was nothing she could do to expedite the process, other than Fed Ex the card to our house when it finally arrives to her department. I was reminded why I left Bank of America years ago. I closed my checking account, savings account and never renewed my CD's because they were the lowest returns in town. The phone menu system is among the least friendly I've ever used. The woman I spoke to just couldn't give straight answers. I am so sorry we got involved with Bank of America. It will be another short-lived relationship with this bank.

Great quick and friendly service at this branch. You can make an appointment on line if you need to set up an account or otherwise meet with a banker. Very nice.
