Bank of America Financial Center Reviews

I’d leave 0 stars if I could. This branch has terrible customer service. Even when faced with long lines they will only have 1-2 windows open. And even then one clerk will just close their window in the face of the long line. Meanwhile, there are at least another 5-6 employees just standing around in suits pretending to be busy instead of serving customers. Bank somewhere else..

    Response from the owner

I worked at this branch in 2016. Never working for them or doing business with them again. According to Experian. someone used my SSN/infi to open anaccount with them and no one could explain how that would have happened. BofA customer service denied it then said it was done in a branch...i haven't been in a branch since 2016. Experian removed the inquiry and out an alert. My FCM at the time was fired for stealing $10,000 and we were all let go due to "conspiring with him" yet no proof because none of us did it. They are shady, push and repeatedly products that aren't good for clients, not knowledgeable and the bank itself was dirty and archaic. I am not surprised they finally.closed that branch with all the nonsense that went on there. Looking forward to the settlement check USPS says i have coming in the mail today...my 3rd one in the past few years due to their clear incompetence

I visited this branch for closing account from overseas. I came in person with passport, but couldn’t close my account. I asked friends in states and asked customers service, they all said that you can do it if visit in person. Are they lied to me? I visited there over 20hours flight just because of this issue.

    Response from the owner

Just had the worst experience at this location with the customer service. This location has teller assist ATMs so that means only 1 live teller to help a long line of clients. Ridiculous having to wait 20 minutes for a live person when the employees in the back are moving around boxes and talking about corn. Yrs corn, and looking at all the people in line.... seriously? BofA, if you think those teller assist ATMs are providing better customer service so no need for actual people to do their jobs, it's not working here.

I’ve been doing business at this location for a long time. Recently every time I go now this location is closed. I understand times are different now but how about posting new hours/closures on the door? Where is the manager? Seems like common sense to me. That is part of customer service. I’m considering switching banks due to the lack of caring for customers.

    Response from the owner

In general I really hate BofA. It’s a horrible bank. Worst customer service ever. This branch is just a little dirty and archaic.

Even though I have a Bank of America account and have been going to this branch for a decade now, I'd rather go a little bit up the street on Sepulveda to Wells Fargo, cash my check, and be on my way quick and without issue. During the time of Covid, you name it and its here: all horrible banking experiences which people seem to tolerate exist at this branch: Long long long lines (tellers and atms) Always had slow service but now......you know. Several ATMs out of service Weird two week closures/random closures on weekdays? Vagrants and homeless all over sleeping under ATM machines in the back especially at night when you really need that emergency ATM visit. Avoid this branch at all costs and join us refugees who go to Wells up the street. The Wells Fargo employees there know our problems with that BofA quite well already!

Every time I come to this brunch I have the same issue, waiting in line for an hour or more, I just came for change for my business. They only have one cashier, as usual. Employees walking around smiling or making fun of us! (Customers) I came in a Monday and their excuse was that the problem was because was Monday. Today it's Friday I guess the long wait it's because it's a Friday. As a Manager of a business, they should be ready to the flow of customers a certain times. This is unacceptable! I guess you should train your people a little bit better. Take this as a good feedback to improve the service. Thanks

Was standing in line for 45 mins. Manager claims they are over staffed but only one teller was open and about 5 to 6 other people walking around with big smiles asking if everything was OK. While the line keeps growing. They keep pushing the new teller machines but those things don't do everything you need.
