Bank of America Financial Center E Main St, Barstow

I don't know why this place has such a bad reputation!! I love banking here never any issues.

This place is shut down more than its open causing a big inconvenience for many customers that need to drive to VV or AV to use their bank. Than this locations end up with lines from hell!

Most horrible service I have ever had with a B of A branch. First you wait for long periods of time. Made a deposit without cause my account was frozen (if a check has a hold what does that have to do with your existing money in account?) and I couldn't use the money I already had in my account and it made my account a negative balance and my deposit held for two weeks on a in state check, the manager came to teller window and claimed the check MIGHT BE returned, and placed two holds, to release portions of one check over a two week span. I wasn't having it so I called corporate and they had that manager reverse the two holds and freezing my account. I am ending my banking relationship with B of A.

This Branch need's more employees There is plenty of space inside to be 6 feet apart. Also ATMs have gone without money for over a month I very disappointed in the lack of Maintenance At the ATMs I'm going to another Bank. My daughter had to drive on a Weekend to Riverside to withdraw her pay check. Un real!!!!

They have business line and normal line for service. I waited about 20 minutes while about 7 or so business people were serviced, even though I was ahead of about half of them. Only 1 teller. Complained and finally was given service, but not before another 3 people who came after me were helped before me. This is not the first time something like this has happened. I want to transfer to Chase bank down the steet. Nicer building with a friendly security guard who greets you and opens the door for you.

They are understaffed so I understand, although they don't really follow their hours when it comes to weekends. I'm sure why but I'm sure they have reasons for having to close on a Saturday but it does become a inconvenience after a while

Worst bank in America. The staff are lazy and don't wanna do there jobs, and they don't even know what there job Is in the first place. Incompetent prices of trash.

The Barstow BofA has not opened with any predictable hours since Summer of 2020. Apparently they have failed to inform their corporate overlords, so anytime one needs to do more than use an ATM at BofA, a call to bankers on call nets one the response "oh, you have a financial center right there on Main Street. Let me give you that address & their business hours." Way to make being stuck in an isolated & remote outpost feel even more hopeless, Barstow BofA. To reply to Phil, some of us don't have the luxury of driving 30 miles or more to do our banking. Your organization's bankers on call have given me the address & hours for the Victorville location (next closest, 34 miles from me,) but when very to a 93YO rambunctious parent with advanced dementia that is not an option. And no, you cannot get away with blaming COVID. Our financial center stopped opening at a time when the virus was not impacting businesses. Apparently the issue was that the unemployment stimulus funds were available to those without bank accounts only via BofA, & since SO MANY people with no employment history, no bank accounts submitted fraudulent claims, our BofA couldn't keep up with the cash demands. Well, it's been a lot of months since stimulus money's ran out, and long term customers like myself (over 25 years considered a valued customer,) are still without a place to bank. Shame. Shame on you, Phil, making excuses without the full story, shame on Barstow branch, who for a while posted signs staying when they would open, but never opened when signage stated, & then posted signs saying "call for an appt," but number listed was for ATM finder, no recourse to a living person on that number, and shame on BofA corporate for failing to notice that this branch never opens anymore. Until now I'd been a BofA booster, very impressed with how well they take care of me. No longer. I might just wind up not only changing banks, but also closing out my Merrill Lynch wealth management account (which holds a not inconsequential sum,) and finding a bank that WILL accommodate my needs, as well as an investment company that is not opened by a bank that shrugs off my needs. Shame on you.

I deposited a fraudulent check,without knowing it was. The bank closed my account,refused to complete an investigation. Even with all my documentation showing that I was a victim of a scam. Now I cant get a back account because I was a so called "black listed". I believe this to be totally unfair and possibly discrimination against people with disabilities. When I deposited the check the teller said it was good,gave me a portion of the funds. Then said the remaining had to have a 7day hold due to the amount. I feel both the bank and I are equally at fault and I should recieve another chance at opening an account

That’s really mass up and wasting of time , I went to open account at this branch and waiting for more then hr and it’s only one banker in the whole bank , thy need to hire more people 😏
