Bank of America Financial Center George St, New Brunswick

Been a long time member for over a decade and had a terrible experience with their mortgage agent M. Biggest issue was the lack of communication. I would be given a specific time to be called, just to wait for an hour after for them to call. Voice-mail box is always full so I couldn't even leave a message. Emails wouldn't be answered. They clearly show that there's no such thing as a valued customer here. Because of this experience im closing my accounts and moving to another bank.

The tellers and the guy who greets (I assume is the bank manager) has to put a smile on their faces. I try to avoid the physical bank as much as possible, but sometimes I do need someone to help me in person. I needed to get some euros today and the guy at the front desk told me to get it online on the app. I also had some issues with depositing some cash. He told me to try another ATM! The teller would not smile at all and had blank face. I told her I needed some Euros, and her response was 'our systems are slow, do it online'. I had to insist to try it. The only person who is personable and nice is Mieguel.

The rudeness of the tellers and the branch manager at this location is borderline abuse. The teller stared at his screen for literally 5 minutes without acknowledging me, and I was wondering if he was high on acid or if Ashton Kutcher was going to pop out of the bushes and yell "Punked!" It was such a surreal experience to be at a multinational financial institution with medicated, socially-inept college students in their main customer facing role. Everyone at my office had a huge chuckle from my story, at least. But the story gets even better when I asked for the branch manager! This woman was beyond rude. I simply wanted to cash a check that was drawn on my employer's account. Holding my check in the same hand as some other guy's passport, she walks right past me, hands the guy his passport, says "thank you very much." turns her back on him, and turns to me and says "we can't cash it." I ask why. She replys "the fields don't match." (???) I ask what that means. She goes "I can't tell you that. Sorry." And turns and walks away. I was in shock! I don't think I've ever been treated so rudely in my life. This seems to epitomize what these big banks think of people who don't have an account with them. Think they care about serving you? Think again.

What happened to this branch. It closed last year due to covid,and then nothing. Are they ever going to reopen?

Extremely rude staff very demanding and not very helpful. Definitely could use some retraining on customer service or just general demeanor on how to talk to people.

I have no complaints about BOA as a financial institution, but the staff at this NB branch are not customer friendly. I walked in on my way to work a couple of times for minor questions regarding a money transfer, and they always seem annoyed, and state rudely that I should have made a prior appointment, even though most of the service staff are just sitting at their computers by themselves. If they are working with other clients, I am of course happy to wait for my turn, but why so much attitude!? The staff at Chase Bank just one block down George St are so much more nicer.

Some of the tellers and other personal have a superior attitude that makes me feel that I cause them problem by doing my errands at this office. This is not the way a customer should feel by visiting his/her bank. I give the second star only for De Castro, who is the only teller treating customers without attitude.

This is the worst Bank of America , firstly there's a shortage of staff so I basically have to wait 45 minutes because there's only one lady working at the desk. There are three but yet there's only one worker. Plus there's another customer ahead of me. They need some improvement here.

The best BoA branch in New Jersey. All staff as well as Manager are so easy to approach. Very helpful.
