Bank of America Financial Center Reviews

I went to the Oak Ridge branch Friday with the proceeds from my home sale and was told they were too busy to open a savings account for my husband and I (it was a large check and we needed to hold it there for our next home purchases). We also needed these funds available for paying bills this week. We already have an established checking account at this branch. When someone jumped in to help, we were then told that we could access our money in portions. A small amount on Tuesday, 5/10 & the remainder by Friday 5/13. I wasn’t happy but the reasoning was, “it’s such a large amount and it’s a check.” Whatever. That evening I received a notification that I wouldn’t be able to access ANY of the money until 5/17. I am unable to get a response back from Facebook customer reps although they’ve promised to respond. Phone customer reps have only said, “it’s a check for a large amount so this is policy” and can’t explain why I was told something different at my branch. I work in Knoxville as a RN Mon-Fri 8-5 but my branch is only open M-F 10-4 so how am I supposed to handle this?? How do I get help? How do I pay bills without money? How do I purchase my next home?? How does it feel to keep your customer’s hard earned money? I’ll be there as soon as I can get another half day off from work again to close all of my accounts. Enjoy my money while you have it, Bank of America.

The only BOA in our area. I drove down to Oak Ridge to pick up my paycheck and decided to drop in to deposit it. Pulled up my account info via mobile banking but they wouldn't deposit it without my debit card. Sorry my wife needed it today. No matter I was able to deposit my check via mobile banking without a debit card or ID. What's the point in having 3 employees and still having to wait in line? After banking with BOA for 7 yrs it's time I pull my gold member funds out and go elsewhere! This place is terrible. Don't ask me to reach out to anyone on Twitter as I do not have a Twitter account!!

The location on Oak Ridge road is probably the slowest, time consuming bank in Orlando. The staff gives you little attention. There is usually only 1 teller working even the line is overflowing through the door. Each time I go, I spend at least 35 minutes just to cash a check. If you are in a hurry or enjoy speedy service, go to a different bank

Quite possibly the most unhelpful bank I have every encountered. They have no special working person friendly hours. They more bureaucratic rules than the government. At least half of the employees are unpleasant.

Called ahead of time last Saturday, they tell me to come in 15 minutes and I can talk to a teller. I’m there in 10 and they refuse to see me. So they take my appointment down for this Saturday at 11. The single teller brings in someone else before us. Takes a long time to fix whatever she wanted fixed. We tried to call them 7 times before the appointment to confirm it, nobody picked up. A bunch of rude people acting like they are better than you. Terrible customer service they treat you like dogs. Been a customer for 7 years, no longer.

I don't personally have an account with Bank of America but I do deposit my rent payment at this location. The employees are super nice to everyone and you can tell they have personal relationships with their account holders. I wouldn't hesitate to use them if I ever needed to switch banks.

Are you all talking about the same bank? The one in Oakridge, TN? The one with the friendliest most helpful bank manager who comes out to greet customers and especially if she sees them in a line up and thinks she might be able to help them (and often can). The one that the tellers take a special interest in ensuring that your deposits are in exactly the right type of account to maximize the interest that you should be earning. The one that when I had a traffic ticket in Italy that had to be paid immediately by international bank draft ONLY took an hour out of there busy day to research the correct routing codes to make sure the payment went through timely and accurately. I just moved here from Texas a couple of years ago and if you folks think these folks are rude and unhelpful you live in some type of seriously air deficient bubble. I couldn’t recommend the service at this branch more!!

I am fine with the tellers. Very friendly and helpful. I am extremely upset that they closed the window. I have two small children and to go into the bank for something that can be accomplished with a drive up window is very inconvenient.

They are friendly! When I apply for auto loan, Susan keeps helping me solve the problem . I also get a good APR.
