Bank of America Financial Center Reviews
J
Wow this bank is absolutley fantastic! With all the insanity because of this pandemic, it is refreshing to have a local bank that knows how to take care of its customers. I usually don't write reviews, but the most recent review has encouraged me to express my gratitude for the amazing professionalism displayed by bank manager Joan. If that review is referring to the incident that took place Thursday afternoon, then these reviewers are beyond normal care. Whilst waiting patiently in line to be helped, a pair of individuals aggressively approached the entrance walking right through all of us waiting. This prompted the security guard to become very alert and on edge, and in turn made myself and the other people waiting in line extremely nervous. They then walked past the guard and right to the corner office area. There was already a manager in her office helping her client, who mind you was with a small child. These people tried to force the glass door open yelling at the manager demanding that they see her. I was shaking watching them scream across the bank. After the manager closed her office door to protect herself and clients, the guard was called. They then walked to another banker and began threatening her. I don't know what was exactly said, but before the security guard called the police I was very scared. This is NOT how you behave in a bank! Calm down and let the good people do their job! After they were escorted from the premesis the entire bank lobby could finally breathe. I can't even believe how Joan and the other staff kept their composure. Thank you BOA for having staff that looks out for the safety of its personell and customers! I've been a customer for 10 years, this was the cleanest and friendliest bank I have been to in a long time. You've still got good people BOA keep it up! 👍

Truly an awful bank. There's no point in making a reservation because they don't keep them anyways. The manager takes pride in being unhelpful and should be fired. Go to Wells Fargo or anywhere else!

This branch seems to thrive on the concept of figuring out new and unusual ways to *not* be helpful. Now, in fairness I am not a B of A customer. I was many years ago but consolidated my accounts to Wells. That said I live nearby and occasionally will have a B of A check that I need to cash. And the fact that I am not a customer is always evident the minute I'm asked. It's like: Oh, not a customer, yeah sorry. Literally, you can see their faces change. And I look presentable, no scary facial hair, no ink, no piercings, bathe regularly. I have multiple forms of I.D. And this is a routine transaction that other B of A's perform without blinking. But not the 715 branch. I walked in there the other day and I literally said to the gal: "I don't imagine there's any chance you'll cash these checks for me?" And true to form she wouldn't. And they were checks, made out to my name. And here I want to stop and say, I gave one example, but this is an experience that I've had repeated at this branch multiple times, over the course of YEARS. Now, getting back to the non-customer part. Sure, you can say "well if you're not a customer you don't get the same service." OK, I get that. But here's a counter point to that argument. A non-customer walks into your branch, do you want him or her to leave disappointed by the service? Or do you want to them to say "Wow, these folks are really easy to deal with." Because if B of A is like every other American business the name of the game is adding more customers, you want more people buying what you're selling. That's how you grow a business. Other B of A branches I deal with seem to get this, but not 715 Blithedale. Every time I walk out of that branch I'm reminded why I don't do business with B of A. Take care of your customers yes, but you have a special opportunity when a non-customer walks into your door. Because that is a customer you don't have. And in the case of 715 Blithedale, never will. So 715 Blithedale, you win, I give up. Never again will my shadow darken your door. The definition of stupidity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different outcome. So for this idiot it's lesson learned. Your repeated poor service has finally beaten me into submission. I officially give, up.

If you don't want to be served and wait around for 1 banker to serve you on a Friday, this is your bank of choice. Worst service ever

They always have new tellers and take forever. When you go there expect to waste a hour

I've had the worst experiences with the tellers at this branch. With the exception of two wonderful women tellers, pretty much most of my experiences have been negative. So much so, that I dread coming in here. Point in case this morning. They are finally done with the renovations, so I walked in with high hopes that I would receive friendly customer service and maybe even a smile. Eric B. was the only teller there and I was the only customer. He was definitely not happy to see me walk in. When I told him that I did not have time to fill out a deposit slip for my two deposits, if looks could kill... His look and his body language said it all. I wanted to turn around and leave but I was there and wanted to deposit the checks. Then in a very irritated tone he said, you fill out one slip and I'll fill out the other. He was not asking nicely, he was telling me. Of course I did not mind filling out the slip, but the tone and again the body language - it was like I was imposing on him and he was doing me this great favor that he should not have to. And there was nobody behind me - just the two of us. If you have a choice, stay away from this branch. The Corte Madera branch has such better employees!

Worst banking experience ever. Went in and to check on fraudulent activities that the bank sent me a new atm card for a day before my auto pay cycles were due. No one had contacted me before issuing new card to verify activity. Bank manager Adriana Gutierrez was most unprofessional when she informed me she hoped my account got closed and that I never returned.

I do personal banking business here occasionally. Staff has been friendly on all my visits. Pretty typical experience if you ask me. No drive thru but have 2 outside ATMs.

Worst in bank experience EVER!!!! The manager should be fired. Rude, misinformation and completely unprofessional. Zero Stars.

The manager and bankers lie to your face...stay far far away. Teller's are great.
