Bank of America Financial Center High St, Salem

I am seriously done with Bank of America. Their hours are not functional at all. Who in the world that works Monday-Friday wants to make plans to make a trip on their weekends to go to the bank that is always low on clerks. The fact that they close at 4:30 infuriates me. They are not catering to the elderly population that is not tech savvy and feels that in person is the best rout. I feel like customer service has went down significantly and it is not due to COVID.

I have banked at this location for nearly 40 years. Even with natural turnover of personnel, the bankers and staff have always treated me kindly, professionally and with respect. I have watched several incidents where customers have made unreasonable requests and demands, and they have handled these matters with great care and respect for the individual. As with all banking much of it has moved online which losses much of the personal approach and although I take full advantage of the digital elements, when I get a chance to go into the bank I am very glad to say hello to my friends.

All I can say and not jeopardize future financial obligations, is that my mother being a member for 19 years, had her purse with all identification there in, come.up missing. Having $42,000 balance, and a missing debit card in action, he told her the photo of Ss card, and Drivers license was not only insufficient for account access, but $40 was all she could recv' of emergency fund assistance. Her card was not even put on hold because she had no rite. This was done through "the good graces" of the branch manager, (Said it was against policy, but would help her this one time). REALLY??? If your reading this sir? Know that the "other" branch made sure she had a motel and could eat. Thank you!! Pft poor form. Tina. obtained "ID".

I have banked with bank of america for a long time. I am a foreclosure defense and bankruptcy attorney who has had a lot of dealings with the corporate greed of bank of america and every other large corporate bank and non-bank mortgage loan servicer. This review and star rating is not about the bank and its greed. It is about the salem high-street branch and its employees and customer service. I find them to work very hard and try very hard and they are local people in our community who try to make the banking experience pleasant. If they had the privilege of working for a small regional bank or credit union I am sure it would be an outstanding branch. I can tell they are good people and they seek excellence in their service. Bank of america does have excellent mobile and online tools which is a plus when dealing with a large well-funded bank.

My first checking account was established at Bank of America in Northern California in 1969. The bankers and staff have always treated me kindly, professionally and with respect. I appreciate their excellent customer service over the past 50 years. I will be visiting this branch later today (12.06.2019) to discuss an overdraft fee that was processed in error. Upon further investigation I have discovered the origin of this error is a potential problem with their cyber security at the ATM Location next to the Roth's Supermarket on 4555 Liberty Rd S, Salem, OR 97302. I will bring digital documentation that will support my concerns and fully expect the Branch Manager to respond in a timely and professional manner. It is also possible that the potential security breach originates from my Chase Bank checking account too. Normally my company bills their services out at a minimum charge of $275 per hour - but I am going to present this information without any expectation of compensation. I hope that other patrons will alert their bank staff to any irregularities in their account so that we all enjoy the benefits of secure digital banking. Highly Recommended. *****Five Stars*****

Always have had decent experiences here, ya know, it’s a bank. However i don’t know if it’s two different ladies or two that look similar but one time I was trying to clarify a question I was asking and the lady groaned and then another time an employee of mine went to the bank and was given a very condescending tone? Love to see it.

This is the only place where I can purchase quarters for laundry and after the new years holiday they just closed on a whim indefinately. Everyone else has to work come hell or high water but not the banks, it looks like we’re not “all in this together”. What am I going to do Bank of America, should a buy a washing board and do my laundry in the bath tub now?

Tracy is the best. Initally set me up with an account in June, and have brought several loved ones back to bank with her. Most recently I booked an appointment to set up my minor siblings with their first checking account, mistakenly booked the wrong branch, but Tracy still fit us in and gave us options for them that perfectly suits their needs right now.

Convenient for ATM, especially being just right across the street from the Salem City Center mall. The ATMs here gives out 10s, 20s, and 100s. Provided of course that you have the money in your account to get them. The ATMs in the mall have a limit of 200 dollars. Whilst one is able to get more here.
