Pioneer Trust Bank NA Commercial St, Salem

In-person experience has always been great. Recent experience with their online system for the first time leaves a little bit to be desired. System is clunky, and allowed payment checks to go out from a closed account, resulting in fees and hassle.

These guys are absolutely amazing. I went to Pioneer after not getting any help from my current bank. It was a night and day experience. Great communication, excellent service, and incredibly efficient. These guys truly care about the folks in our communities. Thank you.

I have both business and personal banking with Pioneer. They have been a pleasure to work with and have been able to be more flexible than larger national chains with regards to commercial loans.

I have a friend that receives her paychecks from this bank and she is unable to cash them at Fred Meyer, Wal-Mart, and another business. She doesn't have a Bank or Credit Union account. To open an account they hold your first check 7-14 days before you can spend any of it. This Bank is in Salem, OR and she lives and works in Portland, OR. How is she supposed to cash her checks?

Whew. Not much shocks me at my age, however the posted reviews of pioneer trust just don’t line up with my personal banking experience of them over the last 40+ years. Not one to post personal financial business I must say that this is a financial institute people. It’s a banking relationship. I do my part and they have always done their part plus some. I have had to wait in line and I have run into an employee having ‘a day.’ They are not robots. When I have a question I always get a personal reply. Not directed to a red phone in the lobby to call customer service like another bank actually did.

This has been my bank for over 30 years and I have always had fabulous service. The people are friendly and extremely helpful. I have literally never had any problems.

A true local bank that cares about and is involved in the community. We moved our business and personal accounts here after years of headaches with the big national companies. Wish we had done it sooner.
