    I have had an Axos Rewards Checking for almost a year, a High Yield Savings accounts for a little over a year now and I recently opened an Invest account a few months ago. I couldn’t be happier! Customer service has been great. The mobile app could use a bit of work but I get the information I need quickly and easily. I have not had a single problem with my accounts like I’ve had with other large banks. I’ll be sticking with Axos for a while.

    Migrated all our accounts from another bank about a year ago and couldn't be happier. Axos allows a full-featured app that is stable, robust and secure. Had a couple occasions needing to contact customer service and in each instance the rep assisted promptly. Solid bank, great tech, amazing customer service, low fees makes for one really happy customer!

    I love Axos. Their site and app are easy to use. You cannot beat their interest rate! Their customer service is excellent, which I know is a concern for people when choosing a bank - especially an online bank. You have nothing to fear with customer service; they are very responsive and KIND! I would absolutely recommend this bank to everyone. You won't be disappointed in the rates, service and ease of use.

    Shannon was the best! It took us over two years to finally purchase a home. We made several offers that were beat by higher ones or cash buys. Shannon stayed with us throughout this arduous journey. When our offer was finally accepted it only took two weeks to close. We were so pleased to see our loan interest rate and closing costs lower than expected. Our experience with AXOS Bank has always been positive.     Kelly Lord and AXOS Bank were great to work with on my mortgage refinance. The team was responsive, quick, and on-time with the close. If any issues arose, they were quick to resolve them. The rate was great and closing costs were minimal.

    Had issues logging in every single time. Every time I set a new password, I'd make a note of it and the next time I would go to log in, the website/app would say it's invalid and I'd get locked out. I spent more time calling to reset the password than I did using the actual account. When I decided to close the account, the human being I spoke with was useless and would not close the account, I was forced to log in and sent a message asking for it to be closed and then had to wait, hoping they'd shut it down before I got charged a fee for not having any funds in the account. These online banks all claim to make things super simple, but in reality you have to jump thru so many hoops to conduct simple banking functions, it's ridiculous.

    Axos is a fine bank; I like internet banking. I can easily move funds to.my local bank, use my Axis debit card anywhere with no ATM charges and have a full variety of banking and financial management services available at the click of a mouse and it can be accessed by Quicken, though not by "Direct Download"; other software seems to be denied access, for security purposes, I assume. I would not hesitate to recommend Axos to a colleague.

    Axos Bank did a fantastic job on my refi. Transaction went very smoothly and James Dyer did a fantastic job explaining the process. Cost were cheaper than other banks and the entire process was a true 5 star experience. Highly recommended. I will be using Axos Bank again for a second home purchase.

    I will never do business with this bank again - - ever!! Their online mortgage portal is archaic, very difficult to actually conduct any type of transaction or request. My property manager and I have been trying to give him online access for over a year - it's pointless, never works. Don't even try calling to reach anyone who can make anything happen - it will take you forever and in the end it won't work. You have my sympathies if you're stuck with them. Do not believe them if they tell you they will release a one year security deposit. They will make you effectively re-apply for the mortgage before they will even consider it. It's been 13 months for me, flawless payment history and they're still making me jump through endless impossible hoops before they let me know IF they will release my $50,000 deposit. Total smoke and mirrors outfit.

    I paid off my auto loan on 5/2/22. They kept sending me past due notices for $2.19 AFTER I had already paid it in full! Phone call after phone call of me trying to rectify their mistake and they kept sending letters in the mail harassing me that I still owe $2.19 + $15.00 late fee! I provided a confirmation number for the final payment to which they finally found in their system on 6/10/22. I was told on that day by Salvador that I would receive my title in 15 days (would have been 6/25/22). Well it's now 6/28/22 and when I called to find out where it is, I was told "we've opened a case for you with the title department and you should have it within 30 days". I SHOULD ALREADY HAVE MY TITLE!!!!!!! They have 5-10 business days to send it out. It's now almost 2 months later after my final payment and they have "opened a case" to get my title sent to me! Axos bank is a fraud!

    Beware! Took us 4 months to refinance….it was a no brainer. Had to resend documents over and over…now have multiple phone numbers…no one answers…in fact one most recent number we receive has an ad for medical alert devise & then disconnects you. Call Quicken loans.

    Don't join this bank. Horrible experience with them, I had to close my account due to them not solving my issue. I deposited a check and they restricted my account and rejected my check. Told me I needed to send address verification and after sending more than 5 they kept denying them and it was weeks of dealing with this. Manager I spoke to was very rude and no one was able to answer my question on why they needed address verification. Horrible experience and very let down with the management at Axos.

    Stopped receiving statements for some reason. Called the 800 # and submitted all my verification information. After finally reaching someone they said they couldn't help me because it was regarding a loan and not "customer service". They transferred me to a que in another country. When someone finally answered they wanted to ask me the same 4 verification pieces of information along with my account # (which I didn't have) and send me a text. I didn't have time so I ended the call. I logged on to their website to create an account. It said it send an email to me to verify but I never got the email. When I tried again later it said the userid I created was already in use and could not send me an email. It said I needed to call another 800 # to verify the account. When I called it said that their business hours were 8-5 m-f. Total joke.

    This bank has the worst check hold policy I've ever experienced! They put (and keep) checks on hold WELL AFTER the money has cleared the other financial institution - this is such an antiquated way to look at finances and is damaging. We live in an era of instant transfer and I will never bank here again - I encourage you all to avoid this terrible institution!

I would never associate with a corporation that steps in to help a financially troubled company that has put itself in this position by conducting shady deals with foreign adversaries.     Axos has been a huge disappointment for me. They keep putting 2 week fraud holds on checks that I write to myself or my partner. It has caused us major problems in the operation of our business. I will be switching banks as soon as possible.

    Axos was awesome. My loan officer, Jonathan M., called me and took the initiative to help me refinance. I probably never would have done it had he not called me and explained why I should refinance (he saved me a lot). Everything my loan officer said would happen was completed thoroughly. No surprises. The loan processor was awesome too, Lydia T. She literally stayed on the phone with me with my current lender for an hour to secure the payoff info to ensure the refinance closed on time. Also, they sent the closing attorney to my house. I didn't have to drive anywhere. It was the best refinance experience I ever had.

    Axos bank offers all services associated with a bank, but at fantastic values that beat the pants off of traditional brick and mortar banks. Being computer non-savvy, I was wary about using an "online" bank"; however, I have had no problem with establishing accounts, setting up direct deposits and automatic payments, reviewing statements and tax documents, etc. Also, I have been very impressed by their responsive and knowledgeable customer service staff. If you're thinking about transitioning to digital banking, I unreservedly recommend Axos Bank.

    I called Axos bank customer service on Friday November 19th and waited on line for 32 minutes before I was disconnected. I phoned back leaving my number to call me back. I’m still waiting for that call. The message indicated that I would not loose my place in line. The third time I waited 36 minutes before I got a live person only to tell me to email portfolio management with my problem. I did and I am still waiting for a response. They assigned me a case number but no real person responded. I have never met anyone from the bank. If you need a quick customer service answer to a problem Axos bank will not respond. I will never recommend them to any of friends and associates ever!

    I recently opened a savings account with Axos, and I have been very pleased. They a very good interest rate compared to similar types of accounts, and the easy site to use once you get familiar with the layout. I have a small amount transferred into my savings account each month, it's a quick way to stash some money in case of emergency.

    I live in a small Nebraska town, 750 people. I didn't think I would like completely online banking, but our financial advisor recommended it to us. We love it. In app tools allow us to do everything that we could at a brick and mortar.

    Opened a business savings account. Online process was straight forward and we were up and running in less than a week. It was also easy to speak with a real customer support agent during the process to clarify questions. The UI is simple, but intuitive and all the necessary functions are accessible. Have really enjoyed using them.

    Echoing the experience of others, this is the ABSOLUTE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE POSSIBLE. They NEVER answer the phone—literally on hold for hours. The automation says you can keep your spot in the queue and they will call back—COMPLETE LIE. No one monitors their online chat feature. No one replies to their web account message system. No one replies to their Facebook page. DOES ANYONE EVEN WORK HERE??? Complete embarrassment. This is after completing a home loan with them last year, which was the most painful loan experience of my life. Complete incompetence in so many areas. Run far away from this bank!

    Good interest rate on my business account, but expect online banking and anything else to be fairly antiquated. Web UX is dated and confusing. Every time I ask a question about integrating with other banks and/or services I use, they send me to the other party. If you don't have to do much but keep the money there, it's not a bad return.

    I lost my Axos Bank Card. Of course I was in a panic. However, when I called Axos Customer Service, a cheerful, polite young man named Austin helped me out. Austin was such a pleasure to speak with, all my anxiety over losing my card disappeared. In a very short amount of time he had a new card being sent out. Between that experience and the high rate of interest on my accounts, I really really love Axos Bank!

    Very disappointed with Axos policy. Their reps are great. The management recently pulled a dirty trick on its customers. They had been paying a top interest rate on savings across the board. Suddenly they reversed the policy and began paying a tiny fraction of the previous interest rate except for very low sum depositors. They penalized their loyal larger customers. Their decision may be good for Axos but unliveable for the customer. The bank itself is good but now I must look elsewhere. Sorry.

    Axos is a great bank.. as long as you 1. Live in San Diego 2. Don't ever need more than 2500.00 from your account at short notice 3. Don't mind that phone support can not do anything for you 4. You like submitting all of your requests online and 5. You enjoy wait times and automated menu systems. I went over from Simple when they got dissolved into BBVA and it has been very disappointing and frustrating. Time to go back to a "big bank" since these guys are apparently small time..

    Jessie Lopez was amazing during the entire process, he explain to me very carefully each step and always send documentation on time. Although I had a very tight closing schedule, Jessie and his team were able to meet the deadline. I'm very pleased with Axos. I will definitely recommend it to others, sometimes people go with big banks and those groups don't really care about giving you the best rates. I have an excellent credit score and BOA ,Chase or Wells Fargo were not able to match Axos deal.

    I definitely recommend this bank if you are looking for a mortgage. Axos Bank has been great to work with. I have had my mortgage with them for a few years and have never had any issues. Their customer service is great. I have recently refinanced, and Mortgage Loan Officer Brett Stites was extremely helpful and made it a quick, easy process. He was always available to answer questions and I got the best refi deal around.

    the first week of August, we decided to refinance our home I had seen email from Axos Bank so thought I would try it. My first contact was Avery Suavo. He got things rolling pretty fast. We are now just waiting for all documents to process and set for signing and funding. Avery was ever so friendly & helpful. We opened an account and I had a few questions. I called the customer service number given and each time was answered promptly and the person answering was very friendly and able to answer my question. So far my experience with Axos Bank has been nothing but positive.

    I came to Axos Bank in November and everything is so perfect! The freedom, the perfect app, the fraud protection, the sign in controls, the added security! This is my first "digital bank." I cannot believe how much money I save each month without having to pay all those hidden bank fees elsewhere the other banks tell you they don't have. The best part of banking with Axos Bank - is my direct deposit - deposited in my account days before the scheduled date. With Axos Bank, for me, banking is as easy as breathing now!

    Recently I had a frightening experience while reading emails. Suddenly both a visual and verbal message came on, informing me that my computer had been locked and that to try to restart it would result in major damage. I was to call the Help number. I did, and after being directed to various sites, it was determined that my computer had been hacked, putting personal and financial data at risk and even phone calls had been violated. I was told to call my financial institutions and have a high security alert put on all my accounts for 72 hours. Then I called Axos I was connected to a man who identified as an Axos employee. He told me that in the middle of the night three withdrawals had been authorized totaling $45,000. They were on hold for two more hours but could not be cancelled. After being on the phone with him for a couple of hours I decided to cut it off. I called a friend who is an Axos employee. She walked me through the process of sending a message through the safe website, reporting the incident. I quickly received a reply thanking me for reporting the fraud, confirming that the person I had talked with is not an Axos, assuring me that my account is safe, and giving me the correct customer service number for future use. Obviously, I am very relieved. I have been an Axos client since 2011 and have always had the best of service. This incident confirms that excellence.

    Axos Bank has been nothing short of wonderful to work with, from setting up accounts to transferring money from different institutions. The mobile app is very easy to navigate in order to accomplish tasks quickly and seamlessly. Their customer service is top notch, getting inquiries answered in a timely matter and accurately.     I recently opened a saving account with AXOS bank. Best interest rate for personal banking on line without any strings attached at .81. Earning 3 times what I was earning. Opening account was swift and easy. I had an issue linking an outside bank account with my new one. One phone call and issue was resolved with quick and friendly service. Highly recommend.

    Since switching over to Axos Bank, it has been so easy to do my banking. When I have called in with a question, etc, the Axos customer service representative I have spoken to is always able to help me and has been polite and courteous.     I have had an Axos Rewards Checking for almost a year, a High Yield Savings accounts for a little over a year now and I recently opened an Invest account a few months ago. I couldn’t be happier! Customer service has been great. The mobile app could use a bit of work but I get the information I need quickly and easily. I have not had a single problem with my accounts like I’ve had with other large banks. I’ll be sticking with Axos for a while.

    This bank is truly shady. Do not bank with them unless you like being robbed by them. I had opened up an account with them after seeing several good reviews. I had nothing but problems after that. I added a joint owner, and had nothing but difficulty trying to get them set up with the app and direct deposit. After about a month I started having problems with the app. It wouldn't let me use biometrics to sign in it would tell me turn them on, but when I went into settings it was already on. I had to type my password in every time after that which was truly annoying. I also noticed that my checkbook was always off $250 when I compared it to my bank statements. I looked through all the transactions and statements trying to make sense of it several times but couldn't figure out why it was off until I connected my account to quicken. I then found an unauthorized withdrawal from my account the day I opened it. It didn't show up in my bank statements or transactions in the Axos app, but it must have occurred if it was showing in quicken. The $250 difference made sense after that. When I added it to my checkbook it balanced out with what AXOS had as my available balance. When I called customer service they denied everything stating that transaction didn't exist which was an obvious lie. Funny, $250 magically appeared back into my account without showing any transaction in my account after I told them I would leave a bad review and close my account. I closed my account immediately and will not recommend them to anyone. I found a more reliable bank and am happy with their services.

    Axos customer service is extremely customer focussed. I called in a panic as I couldn't log into my account to access my tax information. The customer service person was extremely helpful and quick. I didn't have to hang on hold for a long period of time. About 1 minute on hold, I shared my issue, it was resolved quickly and I hung up. This is consistently the type of service I receive whenever I call Axos with a request.

    The worst bank of all time. I know a lot of reviews say it’s the best but we have had the worst experience - road block after road block. Every time we go through the secure messaging system or call customer service to solve an issue that shouldn’t be there and they say okay we will pass this info on to some mysterious review board they keep mentioning that ultimately says the problem isn’t real. They have asked for proof of address and we have sent it multiple times and they keep denying it. They take triple the time it should go get checks deposited. You can’t use Zelle with them. It’s hard to get our money. The app is slow and needs a lot of work for an online only bank…actually a bank in general. There is no excuse these days to be hosting a bad app. We are trying to close our account and apparently no one has the power to give us our money. Our debit cards don’t work. Our transfer options don’t work. Venmo wont work. They are withholding our money. DO NOT USE THIS BANK.

    Do not recommend. Worst bank I’ve dealt with for a mortgage loan. We were double charged for insurance and now our monthly payment was increased for two months. Here we are 3 months in and it isn’t fix. I can’t get a call back and when I call in a wait for ever I keep getting transferred back to the main menu without being helped. No one seems to know what’s going on. Left messages on voicemail and now multiple EVO messages. No response. I was just on the phone again for 30 min being out on hold twice and then they hung up. If I could use any other bank I would

    Absolutely the worst bank I’ve ever dealt with. They hold my deposits for at least five days, even if it’s cash. They also hold all of your direct deposits for five days. Why? They have no ability to transfer your o a supervisor. Instead they request a supervisor call you. Regardless if you’re working or not you have to quit whatever you’re doing when they call or you won’t get your banking issues resolved going back to credit Union. HORRIBLE BANK. STAY FAR AWAY.

    Truly 24 hour customer sevice!!! Lucrative interest earning accounts with highest APY. This bank offers all banking services and latest technololgy. No physical branches, however so I was initially skeptical. I I opened my AXOS account online, but kept my existing accounts at Union Bank and BofA just in case. After 9 months, I grew accustomed to handling all of my transactions online. The 24 hour customer service and high interest rates I was earningmade me a believer. I moved all of my accounts to AXOS now, and life is good!!! Moral of the story...all bank branches are good for is waiting in line!!!

    AXOS bank allowed someone to fraudulently open a bank account in my name. I spoke with "customer service" immediately and they assured me that the account would be suspended and no activity was allowed. 3 weeks later I got a letter stating my account was overdrawn by $250. I've called customer service numerous times and can't get through to anyone. Voice mails go unreturned. Today I went to the only office in La Jolla. Nobody would see me. Some cowardly, faceless executive kept relaying placating bits of information through the poor receptionist and ultimately suggested I call the customer service line. Let me tell you about their customer service line. It's in India. You can barely understand the person on the phone and they just forward you to some nameless voicemail box that no one checks. Do not do business with this company. If you have a problem, or need help with something you will be left out in the cold. I was hoping to take care of this quickly before their system reports the deficit to the credit bureaus.

    Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT open a banking account at this bank (Checking and/or Saving). They would close your account for NO APPARENT reasons, so you're basically at the mercy of their decision (Seriously? Why serves customers then?) And it was only pointed out to me afterwards that they have full rights to simply close clients' accounts for any or no reasons. So while their interest rate might be higher than other banks, please do yourself a favor and stay away from them please! There are many other banks (more reliable and trustworthy) that offer high interest rate as well (T-Mobile bank or HMBradley or Marcus or Alliant Credut Union or CIT bank) This bank should be fully ashamed of themselves for treating their customers extremely poorly.

    Had a business checking account with them and they were by far the worst bank I have ever dealt with. The business banking website and app are both terrible and are missing features that should be standard for all banks at this point, especially when they are an online bank. They blocked most of my charges but allowed several fraudulent international charges to go through. Absolutely would not recommend.

    If you want to access your funds stay far away from this bank. They hold all funds for up to ten days and require you to call and beg them to release it. They will then tell you they submitted a request to a manager to release money. I tried to talk to a manager to find out what the problem was and they refused. Said they would submit another ticket for a manager to call me. When? They wouldn't say.

    I have found the app to be very good. It functions well with a good interface. I did call 2 times and the first woman solved my issue and got me approved and set up with an account. Then I did have some problems with online banking. The guy helped and stayed with me until I got it resolved. I am a new customer so no complaints as of now.

    This was the best experience I have ever had with a closing. Julian Monjazi was the most knowledgeable and professional around. He truly understood what my needs were . He took the time to follow up and make sure that everything Ran Smooth. No real surprises and what he promised was done. Julian along with Wendy my loan processor made an amazing team .. Wendy Rosenthal was always on top of everything and actually returned calls promptly. They communicate well together and make a great team. The entire Team at Axos was great but Julian and Wendy are incredible .I knew what was happening every step of the way and believe me I am not an easy customer to please and I have not 1 thing negative to say . I dealt with 2 other lenders (mortgage brokers) and no one got close to Axos. I stopped working with one half way through the process and other wasn't even close to closing by the time Axos closed my Loan. The communication was horrible I could barely get responses from processors and agents really didn't care.

    Axos bank does a great job to provide inexpensive online banking services. However, I do not like that I have to have multiple sign ins for different “small business” LLC accounts. I would like one sign in for all my accounts. I would like an Application that is more robust and have the ability to do more than just check balances. I would like to transfer money, make electronic payments, bill pay, and more (I know it is possible and straight forward with other banks.). I have heard for over a year that a new app and logon capabilities are coming but it keeps getting pushed back. This needs to be a priority.

    Bait and switch. I immediately asked for my direct deposit to be sent here to make to 60 day bonus offer. My first deposit will be 3 days after the 60 day limit. I now scheduled some funds for the axos account so it isn't closed before the first direct deposit. But you can bet I will be spending new years days looking for a new bank.

    Bootleg bank for businesses. Wires do not send same day no matter how early you send in your form and you cannot conduct any business on the app. You have to go to the web on a computer, log in to send a message through net teller to get things done. Do not recommend at all. Having an account with this bank is like borrowing a “friends car” but the car is stolen and you wouldn’t know unless you got pulled over. Ghetto. Save yourself time and money and you Cap1 business banking.

    my initial experience with Axos when setting up my account was beyond smooth, they lay everything out in a way that guides you through each step clearly. i was intimidated and skeptical as i have never been without a brick and mortar bank, but was quickly turned around! i had questions at one point since set up and felt it necessary to call, i had a super pleasant representative that was quick and full of answers:) all transactions have been without any issues and navigating the app is a breeze. these guys/gals have my vote and i’m quite picky lol! great move on my part:))

    The initial process was easy and convenient. However, when it came time for paying off the loan early I was unable to reach anyone via telephone. So I left a message via Axos Bank website regarding my payoff request. I received no email or phone call for 15 days. I called again 15 days after the first call and was able to talk with someone. This representative told me that the payoff demand was sent and now expired and a new one would have to be started. I requested that the first payoff demand be honored since it was a communication issue on their behalf. I requested to speak to a manager or supervisor who could help this situation and instead was transferred over to different people who told me the same thing. I just paid off the loan to be done with them. I personally will NEVER do business with Axos bank again. Work with them at your own risk and disappointment.

    I worked with loan officer Bret S. and he was a big help through out the entire process. It got me preapproved quickly so I was able to make an offer on the home we really wanted. He made this process very painless for me. He returned calls and emails timely, and served as the go between with the loan processor when she was unavailable. I will definitely refer others to him.

    I just finished refinancing my home and an investment property with Axos bank. The process was very smooth and easy, their online system to submit paperwork was easy to follow and fast. Most of all, Axos representatives were all knowledgeable and very helpful, Alex Shantz was my mortgage loan officer, his recommendations and expertise showed me the benefits of refinancing not only my home but also an investment property. I can't thank them enough for all the special attention.

    I was on the hunt for the best bank for my needs, which are pretty normal, but I definitely needed mobile access. My experience with Axos Bank has been the best banking experience I've ever had. Having a typical brick-and-mortar bank to compare Axos with, I can't imagine why I would ever consider a "typical" bank ever again. Mobile deposits, direct deposits, and the reimbursement of ATM fees is particularly awesome. Help is just a click away -- fast response too! Even the interest earned is far more than what the brick-and-mortar bank has paid (by several dollars!). I've never "loved" a bank, but then I met Axos Bank. :)

Over the years, customer service has not been what it should be; however, Axos Bank has a refreshing approach.     I just purchased a home with Axos bank. Tim Reeves was the loan officer. Tim and his manager John Allen worked as a team to speed up the several loan pre-approvals with higher and higher loan amounts as my need changed as a result of loosing on home bidding wars. Ultimately I bought the dream home. I stuck with Axos since the start of home hunting due to the personalized experience I received and the time Tim and John invested in my file. They were so detail oriented with my complex financial situation with multiple properties as if I am their top client. Tim walked me through multiple scenarios and helped me chose the best loan scenario. I will definitely run back to Axos for the next purchase or refinance.
