The only reason I am giving one star is to be able to post this review. Their ad claims that "you are more than a credit score" and "they work with all types of credit." We found out today that is not the case. My husband and I are struggling with challenged credit. Today, he foolishly filled out an application for a car we saw online. A salesperson called him once to make sure he signed the credit authorization and we never heard from them again. We even attempted to follow up through the website and FB and were told the appropriate person would contact us . To add to the insult, they would not even tell us which location the car we were interested in was at. We had plenty of cash to put down and based off their ads and reviews, we felt like we finally found a place that would work with, spend time with us and not judge us. Nothing was further from the truth. We were judged, sentenced and executed without even so much as an opportunity to talk about our situation. To say we were made to feel very second class is an understatement. If you really do have challenged credit and want to be treated badly, then this is your place.

We went through the application there and when it came to getting approved for the $99 -$500 drive away, that’s not what o got I was told by Alexis that the down payment for the few vehicles my family was looking at which all 3 were 2014 model trucks , I was told my down payment was $5000 to walk out the door. So that was A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME

Worst experience ever!!! I scheduled an appointment after receiving a "pre approval" and to be denied upon arrival. I received a call from their "fiance dept" and she ask a lot questions about vehicles I either never owned or past vehicles that I had when I was married and based a decision on my past rather than look at my payment history for anything current. I make close to 70,000 a year by myself with a combined total of 96,000 with my spouse and she made my visit seem pointless after driving from Terrell. I paid for 2 cars and insurance full coverage for both and never been late for either in the past 2 years and just to be denied. I would have made great potential customer but I guess current situations don't matter only their past. Waste of my time.

Came in with no expectations after being turned down earlier in the day by another dealer. Met with Steve Moreno and let’s just say he exceeded my expectations. He was very helpful, straight forward and made my car buying experience wonderful. I highly recommend you come see Steve for your next car. I’m super happy with my purchase

So to begin the car salesman did a great job with getting me into a car as promised. We wound up having to put 1000 down as per my credit check. However this is the only part that’s good. Car is only worth 5800-7000 he sold it to us for 12.999 which is 150%-200% more than the cars actual worth. That part is my fault. What isn’t my fault is their warranty that is supposed to cover the engine and everything that goes with it. Apparently the timing belt isn’t part of that even though if the belt breaks the car doesn’t run at all. Outside of that first week in they do the oil change for free. They put the wrong oil in when the type is right on the engine cap!! First week in two days after getting the car I had told the salesman about the tires having issues. He stated they would put new tires on and balance them. Nope I got a used tire that exploded while I was on the freeway, thankfully at the time my pregnant girlfriend was not in the car. So they get me a “new” tire. It has treading issues that was checked by an actual mechanic. Not even 6 months later my ac goes out. I have to replace the blower motor and the resistor that is connected to it. Not covered under warranty. Now the last part and the best part. My car passed inspection in August of 2019 I bought the car in September at the beginning of the month. According to Texas state laws windows cannot be tinted less than 25% mine is at 11%. In other words my car won’t pass state inspection because of the tinting on the car to begin with. They sold me a car that would not pass state inspection. They are crooks. Plain and simple do not buy from auto city. They will steal your money put things “under warranty” which come to find out aren’t on said warranty. Do not buy from them and I won’t be doing so again,

False advertising if you have bad credit. They check credit. And will deny you. Was there today had 2300 to put down and was willing to pay 500 a month but nope was a waist of time trying to get a vehicle there. In the end they said your denied even tho a big sign in front of it says 500 down and drive away. Same day went to a dealership and now driving a 2021 brand new no miles Chevrolet Silverado 1500 now how did thay happen unless one place really does try To help another human being out. But guess we was denied for a reason. Because the universe new we deserved a chance and better

The dealership itself deserves 5 stars. The service center however, none. They will screw your car up after fixing it. And in the event they actually do fix the problem, it will just happen again in a couple months. They broke the filler neck on our radiator during our first oil change with them. Denied responsibility, but they fixed it.. cause we paid for it. I feel it shouldn't have been something we were charged for but whatever. Anyways, fast forward to our next oil change, everything seems to go well, until the drive home, radiator reservoir busts.. had to get that replaced. At least they did that right. About the time we get that repair paid off, the freaking throttle body goes out. They fixed it and I'm now ONE PAYMENT AWAY from paying that off and what do you know? Lights come on and what is It? None other than the throttle body. Again. How convenient, right? Anyone else have these problems with the service center? Or is it just our car? 2013 Chrysler 200. We drive it carefully and always keep the maintenance up on it. We have had a couple other things done at another service center and we even changed the thermostat ourselves when it went out NEVER did we have the problems we had with Auto City's.. if you get a car from the dealership, great. But please do not use their service center

My experience with Auto city was great. I was very skeptical of the process initially, but Steve my sales person put my mind at ease.. I did all my paper work online and submitted for approval. I was called by Steve the next morning and scheduled the appointment. When I arrived, Steve had the vehicle I picked out ready for test drive. I called and spoke with Steve to finance a vehicle and submitted my application. I didn't hear back from Steve so I reached out to him only for him to give me the run around. The next morning Steve contacted me and got additional information and ultimately said I was approved with 1000 down. I get to the lot to pick up the vehicle only to find out they sold it the day before. While I was at the lot several people came in complaining about issues with their vehicle. Do not take your business here.... Run.... Unprofessional and the vehicles seem to have a lot of problems. They ran my credit for nothing... Total waste of my time. I repeat do not give these people your hard earned money.... You've been warned

waited for a long time and left the dealership with a dirty truck interior was dirty I was shocked they thought they could even show someone this truck.. Seemed more important to them for me to leave a review with his name his name had to be included…. and take photos holding up a sign than sending me out with a clean vehicle and good product …. I won’t be back Interior dirty engine dirty I wouldn’t recommend this dealership. On top of that I would have left without my paper plates it I wouldn’t have realized it first and went back in. I called in to schedule for a new car and all ceaser told me was to bring in $500 and my information required. I came in with all my info and he wasn't at the shop but one of the guys that work there told me that I didn't qualify for $500 but I need to pay a $1000 instead. So I called the head manager for a complaint I was told only way you can get a $500 down payment is if you worked more than 4-6 months. Not only that I waisted Uber money to get there it was a big waist of time. Don't say on your website to just only bring in $500 down payment but not be get into details that'll have be required. All I was told was to bring in $500 so really I feel played.

Called about 2 vehicles Cezar Ortega “sales guy “ said they were there at the location , drive up there then said the vehicle I was inquiring about is at the Lancaster location did not mind driving , get to the Lancaster location and it’s not there. This place sold me a $17,000 car with recalled air bags that did not deploy when I wrecked, they then fixed my car and less than a year later everything they fixed is broken or chipping, after also making me wait 4 months to fix my car. Beware of the unprofessional and cruel third parties they use they will be quick to reposses your car in 19 days as well so you better make sure you know you are solid for those years 🙌

Great car experiance Tony was my car sales man. No hassle let me choose the car I wanted and got to test drive different ones. It's after you have the car that's annoying, they call text like a rent to own. I would recommend going to a new dealer. I paid off my car and had a brand new car from kia paid $500 a month at Auto City for a Lincoln MkZ with 60,000 but got a brand new 2017 Kia Forte with 49 miles at $380 a month. No phone calls if you wait 4 to 7 days until your next check.

Wonderful and fast service to get a vehicle here. There were 2 vehicles at different lots I was interested in, and they let me test drive to those places. My experience with Auto City was wonderful! Ms. Pat Neal is the best car salesperson I have ever dealt with in the years I have had to purchase cars. Her customer service skills and strong drive to want to get you in a vehicle is exceptional and the warranty and other things offered with the vehicle are really something special. I haven't even had the car for a week and they are saying my repairs are not covered under warranty. I told Cesar that the tires needed to be checked the day of purchase. They were never checked. Then I had a blow out that caused me to hit the little concrete divider so another tire was blown then some wheel damage was done to car as a result of the blow out but now I'm not covered. Get outta here and they want me to pay $800 to fix the car. I don't recommend them. I would say I know people need a vehicle but do some searching and take your time

I would have gave them 5 stars. I have not had any issues with my car until memorial weekend. The battery in the key fob went out, so I went to auto zone and replaced the battery. Still wouldn’t work. I was doing some research online, trying to figure out what was wrong with it. The key fob needed to be reprogrammed again. A simple 5 minute fix. I called them Friday, they wanna tow the car 🙄. Saturday morning around 9, the guy came and towed the car. NOBODY I mean NOBODY told me the service department closed at 12 on Saturday’s. I only find out when I call to see if my car was ready. When I found this out I was mad as hell.. Lack of communication at its finest. Monday morning comes around, I look to see if they were open and according to Goggle they are. I have been calling since 9:30, no one has answered, no voice recording has come on to say they are closed for the holidays or nothing.. I never missed a care payment, to get horrible customer service is ridiculous...

PSA: I bought a Cadillac SRX 3 years ago which they overcharged me for b/c it doesn't even have original paint color. You can tell it was a Mary Kay Luxury edition. One good thing I can honestly say is when I bought it, it had very low mileage and still had factory warranty, henceforth the 1 star I gave them. One of the perks/incentive they give you for buying a car from them is getting your oil changed for only $15, for me it's worth it b/c my car takes synthetic oil and lots of it which can run $80-$100. Well I took an extended lunch yesterday to get my oil changed took them 2 hours! When I leave and go back to work my car still says 0% oil life change engine oil soon. My husband checks it and the oil looks fine but the filter doesn't look like it was changed. So today I bring it back get here to let them know and the lady manager nonchalantly says oh they forgot to reset it but the guy won't be back for another hour. Well I don't know about anybody else I have other things to do than to wait around for something they should have done in the first place. It took her minute but she finally apologizes for the inconvenience, but this is still unacceptable especially the way the lady initially treated me. Will be the first and last time I buy a car from them and won't be making any referrals either! Auto City your CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS!
