My boyfriend and I were first time home buyers, and had no idea what we were doing when we started this home buying process. And trying to find a home that we could afford, and also love in Central Oregon was already going to be quite the challenge. But Rob truly went above and beyond for us, and helped us out on so many different levels to help get us the loan that we needed. Rob never left a question unanswered, and helped us through all of our concerns and struggles through this process. I cannot express my gratitude enough for everything that he did for us!

Rob and his staff provided us with a refinancing process that could not have been easier and most affordable. They saved us money whenever possible. For example, they used the most up-to-date market valuation index to avoid our being charged an appraisal fee. They were always available to answer questions during the application process which enabled us to quickly submit our paperwork and shorten the turnaround time. If I ever need (re)financing services in the future, I will use Arbor Mortgage again as my first choice without hesitation.

Just closed on a loan with Andy at Arbor Mortgage for my third property in four years. He went above and beyond to get us qualified and closed on the loan on time. Being self-employed is sometimes hard to get qualified but Andy will stop at nothing to work with underwriters so they understand non-W2 scenarios. Super grateful to have Andy on our team. Rob Cunningham was phenomenal to work with. Rob was very available for phone conversations, and detailed with his explanations. My partner and I were first time buyers, and he took whatever time was needed to walk us through the multiple possible scenarios along each step of the home-buying process and answer all of our questions. For the beginning stages, he had diagrams that could be pulled up on our computer at home, as well as his computer at work; therefore, he could highlight sections and examples while giving his explanation of different loan options. After we were moving forward on a specific home, he thoroughly talked us through the steps, possible obstacles that would change the timeline, and the whys behind possible delays. Overall, he was exactly what we needed - a trustworthy resource, patient and thorough explainer, and realistically encouraging. I highly recommend using Rob as your lender.

Alan Bell was super professional and highly engaged in helping us with our mortgage. He provided an excellent balance of professionalism, knowledge and relationship. He was very good about getting us to do our part, while keeping it a positive experience. A lot of the documentation is the responsibility of the borrower, and Alan was able to help make it important to us. Our entire process from start to close took only 10 business days. FANTASTIC!

Beau listened patiently to my financial situation. He provided great advise and responded quickly to my inquiries (I had a lot of questions). He worked hard to get me a reasonable interest rate and reasonable closing costs.

Lots of great reviews, but I’ll go ahead and share my recent terrible experience with this company. I was working with one of their mortgage brokers and we were speaking several times a week watching the rates at the the beginning of the interest rate hikes. I spent many hours gathering all the needed documents for the loan and supplied those to the broker. I had a meeting at 10am at the office. When I went in the front desk person she said he wasn’t in. So I called him and he told me he was home sick and could meet me next week. Sensing the urgency of the rate hikes, I asked if I could swing them by his house so he could look at everything I had gathered. So I dropped them off at his house. He didn’t seem sick, I think he just forgot we had an appointment. That should have been my first clue. He recommend waiting for a few weeks to see if mortgage rates would come down a bit. During that time a talked to my friends wife in Nevada who does mortgages and asked her if she thought I was getting a good deal based on the numbers I was being quoted at Arbor Mortgage. Since I had already collected the docs, I went ahead and sent everything to her as well. She ran the numbers and was basically at or just slightly better than what I was quoted from arbor. Her recommendation was to lock immediately. So I tried to get ahold of my broker at arbor and couldn’t get ahold of him. He ghosted me and left me hanging. Luckily my friends wife locked me in at a great rate. The arbor mortgage broker never once reached out to close the loop with me. Had I not engaged with my friends wife at the time that I did and still relied on Arbor, I would have missed the window for my mortgage and the rates would have gone up to much for me to comfortably close the loan. That would have put me in a terrible position and would have cost me a lot more money. Super disappointed in the Arbor broker for his unprofessionalism. To this day, he still hasn’t contacted me on. Thank God my friends wife gave me great advice to lock when she did, because rates rose rapidly after I locked. I do not recommend arbor mortgage.
