Appomattox Title Company Inc. Memory Ln, Chesterfield

I asked for a title search on my family's property as I am planning to purchase. 80% of what I know is out there was not included. I was told after the search was done that they only go to the records department at Chesterfield County. There was and is much more information out there. There are people from other areas. Had I have been told this before engaging them, I would have gone elsewhere. They asked for a family tree on two separate occasions. Which I provided. I received an email saying that I said someone was deceased who is alive. I never had that conversation with anyone in that office. And question about why I would pay my own family's taxes. Then they told me that I owed them an additional fee. I don't mind that but I wanted a full search. I emailed them on certain names, incidents and dates. All of which was ignored. I don't need surprises. The majority of what they sent me, I already had. Judging from the reviews that I am seeing they are good for doing closing but not title work. Maybe they should stick to that.

It was truly a pleasure to work with the staff at Appomattox Title Insurance Co. I never imagined I would actually have fun at a closing! This title company is awesome and does a thorough job making the entire process painless and simple. Thanks again for an awesome experience.

Requested them for our refi after Kim and Sharon did such a great job on our initial closing. The girl that was assigned our refi dropped the ball repeatedly then got very rude when our leader had us reach out because he was not getting a response. Dropped them after a month of Dragging their feet. Low and behold not even a week with new title company and we are full speed ahead.

Sharon and her staff made my closing a breeze! She explained everything to me, answered all my questions and sent my husband and me on our way feeling protected and assured that our home is truly ours. I can not recommend her highly enough!
