Poor overall experience... DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DO NOT LOOK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE INSIDE!!!... The blatant racism I experienced was astounding! I enter the business during normal operating hours with the intention of cashing a verified certifiable check from capital one (refund from auto accident). I'm initially met with "outsider" stares as everyone shares glances as I approach the service window. The middle to fair aged latin woman behind the glass is already distant and "sceptical" even though I've managed to present current and valid forms of identification in association with the check. She legitimately asks me if "I've ever been here before" I tell her "no this is my first time I'm on break from work and capital one just closed (Saturday business hours) she flips the check over on its back and then on its front about 25 times just staring then glancing at the wall before walking behind another associate falsley attempting the verification of my check thru the machine used to allow watermarking and security measures on the check to be clearly visible. She walks back over to me calls capital account services department 3 different times on a HOUSE PHONE WITH THE CALL ON SPEAKER WHILE IMPUTING RANDOM SEQUENCES OF NUMBERS TO MAKE IT SEEM AS THOUGH SHES ATTEMPTING TO AUTHENTICATE. Lastly I'm told they cant cash it I ask why (just as any normal person with a check walking into any check cashing place would) to only be told "we cant verify the check" I ask how is that to? She starts mumbling a broken response.. I ask her "are you serious right now? She gives me a blank careless stare then proceeds to validate her decision BY SAYING IVE SIGNED THE CHECK WHICH NEEDED TO BE ENDORSED TO CASH. ABSOLUTELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE TO ANY ONE ALTERNATIVELY PIGMENTED AND CULTURED. ALL nonsense aside I watched two individuals (customers assisted prior to me) with no authentic identification cash checks pass money around to each other and complete multie international transactions with zero eye lashes batted. I hope whoever's reading this takes heed to the notice of customer care, equality, and service this poor establishment provides. Dont worry your all clear as long as you look just like everyone else that's near 😎👍🏾🤔. Total and utter disappointing waist of time, resources, effort, and energy. I wish them nothing but constricted success. Keep up the segregated work 😏👎. I will never provide this place my business. Shame on you and the community you represent.
