Amscot - The Money Superstore W State Rd, Davie

Went there 2 purchase 2 money orders. They claimed that one bill was not genuine (which was nonsense) without even checking with the color detector (they claimed not to have one). Not only did they not sell me no money orders, they mixed all the bills/coins I arranged for the respective money orders, which was disrespectful. This was the "manager" Yanique who did this. Completely unprofessional and uncalled for! They need cash for check cashing?! Count me out... I will not support this store.

I just tried to buy a Money order, they asked for my ID and phone number but after 20 minutes of wasting my time they couldn't sell it to me so I walked out and went around the corner to Publix Supermarket and got it after 5 minutes in the store. Thanks for nothing

Don't waste your time with this place. There are several other on-line companies that lend you money without all the red tape. I went to this location personally to get a loan and I had to jump through hoops to apply. I ended up leaving this facility and searched via my cell phone other licensing sites and found several that approved me on the spot. I chose one of the other companies and received the money I was looking for the same day. I could have accomplished this detail without leaving my couch.

Friendly, fast, noon-judgmental, clean, there's a bathroom you just have to ask for the key. That's about all you can really ask of an amscot 😆.

I've been with Amscot for over 5yrs now and have cashed 100s of checks with them, no issues except for twice, 2nd time last night and it's the last time Amscot will ever fail me. The 2 times they decided they didnt want to cash my check was the times I probably needed them the most. Nothing wrong with the checks, they actually have cashed many of the same checks before but FYI if they call corporate for approval I guarantee that you will NEVER meet the requirements, and they know it! They had me waiting almost an hour and customers were walking in and out but they waited my time just to tell me I didnt meet the requirements. Doesn't matter of my perfect record of no issues, I still get treated like I'm some fraud with fake checks. Once? Ok but twice of wasting gas, time and energy, NO! IM DONE!

Worse customer service the lady did not even crack a smile once while going through the process and was very short and rude . Also had the worse black eyes looked hungover or just miserable . She messed up my only check I didn't have another one because she did not say write it for the amount until she seen me on it writing and then she wouldn't help me it was my last check. She was so mean to me you guys lost my service I will not be back I'll go to another cash advance

Went in this morning. The young man that assisted me was extremely professional and polite. The paperwork was prepared in good order. I am now a customer and highly recommend this location. ( I left the same review accidentally at a different location. This is the one I went to)

Area is clean and staff is nice.... the reason for 3 star is because there is no staff to speak anyother languages, Spanish in my case... it also doesnt take minutes to get a loan like they advertise

Unbelievable this is the worst place to go... WASTE OF TIME
