Amscot - The Money Superstore N Nova Rd, Holly Hill

Went to this location with a buddy to visit a childhood friend. We both needed some quick cash from the ATM and they had two available. Transaction fee of $2 was reasonable and was in and out in less than a few minutes. 5/5 Legit ease of access and convenience.

Amscot gathers your private personal information just for a money order. They don't take debit or credit cards either. Unfortunately this information is not posted in a conspicuous place where customers can see it before filling out unnecessary paperwork. C'mon Amscot, no one uses cash anymore, get with the program. Better off going to the post office for inexpensive money orders. Keep driving past.

I have to put a star to be able to leave a review or else I would give this place a zero. On Easter Sunday I went into Amscot and had a terrible experience with an employee who holds the title as a “lead” but clearly has no customer service. I have no idea how she even got that position with the rudeness that came from her. She said nasty comments to me about being a church goer, called me inappropriate names about the awful pandemic going on. I can’t believe they would have an employee (I mean a LEAD employee) working for them with this kind of attitude. This “lead” wasn’t even the one who was helping me in the store, but she couldn’t help herself from her comments.

Holly Hill Amscot has very poor customer service. It is not their business how you spend your money that you work really hard for! They ask irrelevant questions as if your taking out a loan, just to purchase a money order. Holly Hill employees can't even send a proper fax! They need to go home at night to study store policies so that they can better inform their customers of their process. I have never had to show identification just to purchase a money order to pay my rent! BEWARE OF HOLLY HILL AMSCOT

Okay first of all I waited in line so long until I swear Jesus was going to come back I just came in to replace a wrinkled money order that I got from them I was ID and ask for my SSN number to replace a money order and she had the nerve to ask me where I work at How is my employer information like I said just to redo a money order because the people wouldn't take the money order when it's a little wrinkled it wasn't even all that bad but waiting in line was I waited so long there until the dude behind me in the wheelchair fell a sleep I feel like she took her precious time like I had nothing to do I think y'all customer service need to upgrade and the next time she asked me where I was going to say at the border patrol keeping you motherfukers out.

I’ve used Amscot for and they have consistently handled me with respect.When I go to them for help they’ve always stepped up and took care.I’m glad there’s an Amscot open and nearby.Thanks Amscot for all the help😊

Tellers were awesome.. however back office made me jump through all sorts of hoops which I provided everything they asked for exactly! And after wasting hours of my time said no to a loan that would only be making them money in the end.. if your going for the first time for a payday loan .. don't they will just do same to you!

My elderly grandmother was rear ended badly on Nova Road right in front of their location, the responding officer told her to go wait there at the amscot till she could be picked up. Naturally she was very nervous and anxious, so while she was waiting for me to come pick her up (driving from NSB) she urgently needed to use the restroom. THE MANAGER WOULD NOT LET HER USE THE RESTROOM!!! They "didn't have a public restroom." What kind of a public business doesn't have a public restroom??? The employees there have no heart or compassion! Should actually be a 0 star review!

Very misleading, most employees arent that well trained or knowledgeable especially Shakia, gave me false and misleading information which was very time consuming hopefully they can learn from simple common errors which destroys their quality assurance

Went to get a document notorized. Paid $10 and had to destroy document. It was dirty with toner deposits all over the page. Terrible! Will not be using your service again, ever!
