I found the store to be clean, and the staff efficient and friendly. I was there to pay off a Payday advance I had taken from another location. This was no problem, which I greatly appreciated. Keep in mind when you read these reviews, some of them are left by disgruntled employees that the store was unable to help. Save for the fact that one of the two ATMs was out of order, my experience was very positive.

Went in today @5pm & didn’t get served til 5:45, Staff is very slow at that location & they try to multitask by helping other clients while helping you but they aren’t that skilled for that, Cassandra was the lady who helped me but she wasn’t much help at all, She instantly started asking uncomfortable questions, such as “What’s the money for” Then she gets on the phone & comes back & said she can’t process it, A simple Western Union, I assume she figured I was pulling a scam but all my credentials added up & I had to leave the store without even a reason of why I can’t get the money, I’m tact she told me that I wouldn’t be able to collect the money at all, so she red flagged 2 of my transactions with no reason at all, She needs to be fired or even demoted to Janitorial or Plain out fired, horrible services & because of it I will never use amscot again, big or small transactions never again....

I have been coming here since they opened this location and ALWAYS had great experiences! So you can just imagine my shock today when for the first I came into contact with a very unpleasant rep! I went in to make a payment, now previously i dont recall having The account # w me to make this payment just the name and service address. I very well could have forgotten that i did have it before human error. I told the rep "that's odd i dont recall needing it before and I TRULY don't recall ( again i might have been in a rush or simply forgot ) the call my husband to get the account # and waited for him to send me the photo of it. Sounds like it could have all been done and over withcorrect? However, the rep proceeds to tell ALL of her coworkers with a SMIRK on her face " oh she says she's done it without the account # before, can you believe it?" As a customer service supervisor myself I WOULD feel horrible for the customer if any of my reps were to do that! I understand asking once to check IF that is in fact a possiblity, but to continue to bluntly make the customer feel bad by telling ALL of your co workers and laughing about it when you clearly just saw the customer make the call to get the account information. All you had to say was "no problem ma'am whenever you're ready". You represent the company and first point of contact w customers. I am still in shock i left and made the drive to the pompano beach location instead where they were amazingz. I understand again, a customer service supervisor myself that sometimes after a custm leaves you feel the need to let steam off but atless wait for the customer to leave and specially when the customer did not do anything to you

The rudest establishment I have EVER visited by FAR! SHELLY is the RUDEST customer service representative that I’ve come across in my time. I will NEVER recommend anyone in my life to even walk past this company. AMSCOT needs to be shut down and investigated.

Worst customer service ever was waiting for 20 minutes didn't even get attended. They have two employees on site only one working but very slow do not come here

Wish i could give this place no stars. Trust me, you're way better off paying for a money order next door at publix. The staff here loves to look at you and then pick who they want to serve, its the opposite of first come first serve. Might be one good employee but mostly they're all incompetent.

This Amscott location is extremely horrible, the set up they have when u walk in is something else and even confusing to the employees. The cashier Shelly-Ann extremely rude, asking for my daughter's information and expecting her to yell it through the glass instead of passing her a piece of paper and pen and asking her kindly to write it down. So when I told her that she is not yelling out her info, pass a pen and paper for her to write it, she told me, "look lady, I am having a stressful day and I don't need you adding on to it" smh. The check was not even cashed cause of the cost that she could not negotiated. Smh, I work in the medical field and there is no way that I can express to an upset patient how bad my day is going. Shelly-ann really need to be retrained, never know when secret shoppers are coming through!

They stole my SSN and other information bank account numbers being one. Customer beware. Avoid these places. Pawn shop would be a lot safer than these crooks. They need to do background checks on the illegal Haitians they employ.

Well to begin no one there has a pen to check bills no one there is smart enough to tell the difference between real and fake bills I went to the bank withdrew the money I needed to pay a bill and ask for money order have an mind no I came from the bank one minute before PNC BANK for the record and apparently to your dumb ass staff that can’t tell from fake or real ALL STAFF so I took my business some where else I had to pay for the money order I wanted but that’s ok I will keep paying to never come back to this store and anyone I know of trying to go there I will make sure they don’t step in there on top of the all the garbage I had to deal with you guys can’t even cash any of my checks that I have cashed at banks deposit in my account and at the check cashing store has never gave me one bit of a problem I will give you guys Zero stars if I could but it won’t let me hope you go out business in the near future

I would give ZERO STARS!!! The staff is absolutely horrible and unintelligent and screwed up dates that caused me to pay extra fees for no reason!! Rude, unintelligent and completely unprofessional. Typical Florida device. I highly suggest you NEVER go here
