Amscot - The Money Superstore Ne 15th Ave, Fort Lauderdale

If I could give a 0 I would for today's visit. I was the 3rd customer at the window and 2 more customers entered after me. There is 3 customer service ladys behind the glass but only 1 was doing her best trying to take care of everyone. The other 2 ladys were on the computer laughing and having a great time while we all waited. After 15 minutes I walked out without any service. I work in the service industry and would not tolerate this from my employees. Didnt even get a greeting when walking in. Other amscot locations they will say "welcome to amscot please take a window". Not here you get nothing..if it would of been my first visit I would of been standing there not knowing what to do.

This is the 3rd time I've gone into Amscot, wasted a half hour, and left empty-handed. On this occasion, I wanted to load a prepaid debit card through Western Union. I was given a pile of applications as though I were trying for a car loan. A half hour later, I turned in my papers and asked again, "Can you load this card?" She swiped it twice, said "Nope", tossed it back through the window and went on to the next person. There is a hole in the wall convenience store nearby with a Western Union sign in the window. The guys barely spoke English and had no problem loading the card. Alrighty then.

This store also defrauded me out of a $100 bill by replacing it with a counterfeit. When I complained they refused to produce the video of the crime that occurred. I took a picture of the worker who did it. The manager Charnae hid her face when I video recorded her. I will post the video for everyone to see the criminals that work at this store. Do not go there— the workers will steal from you and refuse to produce the video evidence. Corporate was no help.

If anyone looking for loan or paid your bills You found the must honestly and five gold star customer service. Regarding the customer who dislikes the service at this location. My advise to this human being is get medical help We love our local amscot. Manager and employees always always so professional

My cousin and i went in this location to get money orders and were asked for Id not problem they gave me my money order but had a problem giving my cousin a money order after he filled out all their ppwk and handed them his id they also called corporate office and they came back and said they want to put his name on the money order this was the oddest thing I ever heard in my life yet alone showing your Id to get a money order. The customer service and the communication at this location is very poor.

This place is good. I always come here and never had a problem. Today I make a call to them and the "attendant" had a very smart mouth. Service I give them 5 stars but for this one attendant which I won't say her name which I should I give them one. Some people are just so unprofessional. If you have a bad day leave that at home. Don't bring it to work where you have to deal with people and ruin their day just like yours. Appreciate your job before someone else will.

Ive been there many times before and I have always had good customer service there. Its usually fast and the attendants have a good attitude and are eager to help u. Its 24 hours everyday which is very convenient because i go there very late at night usually. I recommend it to anyone. Also u can pay your bills there.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Employees care more about their personal conversations than they do about their customers. They’ll even put false information about you in your file. Amscot employees from other locations have even told me how bad the one in Fort Lauderdale is.

Do not go here. The teller switched out a valid $100 bill for a counterfeit and blamed chase bank. They took the money away from counter and switched out the bill. I was able to document a picture of the perpetrator. Corporate did nothing. I requested they preserved the video of the transaction and they gave me excuses. Total fraud.

The crooks working for this company stole my SSN and bank account information with all my other personal info and sold it to or passed it along to identity thieves. Good pawn shops have the same rates these scumbags have and you don’t have to give them all your most personal information to end up on the black market for sale.
