Ameris Bank Memorial Dr, Waycross

I absolutely love the service of this bank. The staff are very helpful, polite, and professional. I was helped by Ms. Carla Stokes who helped me with a difficult problem and she handled herself very professionally. The best part of the service was that she went out of her way to thank me for my business with a handwritten letter that was sent to me by mail. That is the most genuine and amazing customer service that I've ever received from any bank I've had.

I love Ameris Bank! My next door neighbor is a manager at one of the branches and she keeps me informed of any rate changes or other important goings on. She even goes a step further—-she takes care of a lot of my “business” without me even having to go in the bank. And she always does it with a smile! That is what I call great customer service!!! I was so glad to see Jessi Cox was the lady who help set up my account. I didn't remember her name immediately but knew her face and remembered her from another bank from many years back. She is such a wonderful caring person and is so courteous and helpful during the whole process. It's a real blessing seeing a person enjoy their job and legitimately love the customers and people in her community. I will gladly recommend Ameris to anyone I know and should u need me I would definitely recommend for anyone. I'm leaving BB&T and also leaving SunTrust who I have banked with over 30 years. They are having some very serious management and technical issues they can't seem to get worked out. Has been affecting their business for over a year with this merger they are going thru. I believe all their employees at BB&T just walked out and quit this past week. They only have 2 strangers from another bank trying to run it right now.

Carla Stokes helped me start my first checking and savings account and she was amazing! She took the time out of her day to go into detail making sure I understood everything and made everything so easy. She even was nice enough to give me a coke without hesitation. Amazing customer service and a very friendly environment.

Ms Stokes is a very helpful with my banking needs. I don’t know anything about online banking and she has so much patience helping me through each step. Ameris Bank drive thru employees at both offices in Waycross are very friendly and treat you like they enjoy helping you. Shelby Behrensmeyer at Waycross Memorial office is the lady you want to go to for help with a loan. She is professional while also making you feel like you are her only client. Shelby’s knowledge of banking and finances is evident when you get rapid answers to your questions. She is such a good person that she also wants to do what is best for you financially.
