Ameris Bank Newnan Crossing Byp, Newnan

I have been a member of this bank for many years now. Every person that works at my local branch are always wonderful. I have had similar great experiences with customer service over the phone. I am also happy with the way they do banking. No unnecessary service fees for things is a great plus.

After fidelity sold this bank to ameris I sit in the lobby 30 -45 minutes to do anything in a building with 3 customers waiting on 1 teller. 3 people in the office doing nothing, Find a better bank service here is horrendous

The customer service at this bank is beyond amazing. I feel like family. They are knowledgeable, and helpful with any banking or credit questions. I've banked with them for 3 years now, and am Very Happy.

The bank employee here are friendly and helpful. The reason for my 2 start review is to let people know I do not recommend Ameris Bank. When it was Fidelity and Bank of Georgia before that, it was fine, but if you value online banking, stay away! Ever since becoming Ameris, I've had problems with the app and the website. It's overly simple and lacks many of the functions you expect from modern banks. My biggest two is that they did away with biometric sign in for the app. I hate entering my long password every time I want to check my balance. Additionally, I have two auto loans through Fidelity (now Ameris). Back in October, the loans disappeared from the website and the app. I haven't been able to view the balances since then. For a time I wasn't able to pay them online either, but that has since been somewhat fixed. To pay the loans, it must be done through the website, not the app, and you have to enter a bunch of info including your loan number and your checking account routing number and checking account number. You have to do this every single time! It does not save this info. It's absolutely crazy that this is the way they expect people to pay their loans in 2020! Also, if you are more than 3 months ahead on payments, after entering all your account information, plus other info, you'll get an error message saying you cannot pay loans that are more than 3 months ahead! Ameris, this will be the downfall of your bank! As soon as I get a chance, I'll be moving to another bank. Look at the recent reviews for the Ameris app. They are virtually all negative. Again, I have absolutely nothing against the people working in this branch. I've had good experiences here, but I simply cannot accept their archaic online banking.

Awesomeness. Clean bank and very friendly staff. This bank even has a restroom for men and women. I have never seen a restroom in any bank before. There is usually no wait time in doing business in this bank. There are many 3 branches alone in the city of Newnan, Georgia. Awesomeness.

Fidelity is the best bank. Whatever my needs, Fidelity has the means to meet them. Service is consistent, friendly, and sincere, for which there is no substitution. I hope Fidelity remains for years to come.
