Got a friendly greet from the tellers as soon as I walked in. My wait time was short. The banker that provided service to me, (A.F.) was polite and helpful. I needed additional help later that day and got just the help that I needed the second time I called in. I really wish I could remember her name!! Plus, I did receive a call back from the first time I called and didn't reach anyone. That was only because all personell were busy at that particular time. To sum it up; I would recommend Ameris Bank in Albany, GA to anyone.

Great customer service, no wait, very experienced and friendly. Explains everything until the end with suggestions and a good atmosphere. Eira Plummer is one that I would recommend to anyone. She did my account and she is fantastic with her work and very professional.

Absolutely terrible and incompetent service. Worked with Angela D. for weeks on a 10% down investment home loan product they touted. THE DAY before our contract was locked in for good she sent us an email letting us know they will need 30% down instead effectively killing the loan. She claimed she didn't know the product well enough to understand its conditions. Was not up front with us about the risk of the loan being rejected at the initial terms otherwise we would have looked elsewhere. Was not apologetic for costing my business partner and I weeks of work and $15,000 in lost revenue. Unfortunately we paid for our lesson but you can learn from us for free. Keep your money away from this place!

I couldn't be happier with my experience with Ameris Bank. I had to file a fraud complaint and everything was handled very professionally and I am pleased with everything going forward.

Horrible customer service, we called in to make sure they could do a cash advance. We were informed that they would be able to do it even though we were not members there. When we got there , and hour later... They denied us and tried to tell us to go to the atm to do the cash advance!!! I politely tried to inform the teller that that would not be the same thing as a cash advance.. thats a withdrawal.. Apparently they are uneducated as well! Horrible experience , choose a better BIGGER BANK!
