A learning & wonderful experience as a veteran, no down payment. Also, Kelly called me after I sent 20 emails out to various mortgage companies. Kelly called the next day and told me about the Troops for Veteran's program, they gave me a 2nd mortgage and I will not have to pay it after living in my home for 5 yrs. Five yrs & loan is devolved. This purchase experience has been awful, and this this lender has made it that much worse. From unresponsive loan officers (Rachel Saynor and Terry Husbands), to inaccurate closing disclosures, and over a 2 hour delay in sending closing documents, on top of that, additional last minute increases that were only disclosed at the time of closing. Awful. Amerifirst has made my first home buying experience truly awful.
