American West Highlands Collection Belle Marie Ct, Las Vegas

These homes are super cheap quality. Don’t waste your money. They will also scam you for deposit.

Unfortunately I can give ZERO STARS. Don’t even attempt to buy a house from American west. They pre approve people who they know won’t qualify for a loan. Once they pre approve you they ask for $5,000 cash deposit and when you don’t qualify for the loan they will not give your money back. They are crooks. We were planning to buy a house at the highland collection and at the first visit they told us you will get approved and pre approved us. They force you to work with their preferred lender(Loan Depot) if not they charge you extra fees like building process fee($2000) if you workd with another lender. Interestingly David Yurovchak the loan manager for American west switched companies from loan depot to Guild Mortgage just prior to the closing date. We had to do the whole loan process all over again with his new company. There is so many unnecessary upgrades that they charge you for and you have to pay which if your home purchase doesn’t go through you wont get a refund. There are so many fees that they charge the customer its just unbelievable. They basically steal money from customers. They are thieves. They also lie about when the houses are ready. About the closing date they initially told us April 2018 and the final date ended up to be 1st of September 2018. Each weak they would postpone the closing date. The whole process took close to 10 months. The Sales Manager at the highlands collection Lauren Tuazon is so unhelpful, unprofessional and misleading. She lures people who wont qualify for a loan into paying deposits. The whole experience with American west was a disaster. They stole around 10K from us and kept us in limbo for close to 10 months just to let us know 2 days before the closing date that our loan did not get approved. I am writing this review so other people wont waste their money and time.
