I have worked with Juli Matson on several loans the last few years for vehicles and RVs. Her experience and knowledge of the loan process always makes the process seem easy. She always works for the customer ensuring the best rates available. The last loan I did took 20 minutes for approval. It is nice to deal with such a professional lender.

Excellent experience working with Juan Andrade - he made purchasing our first home easy! If attention to detail, human connection, & ease of service are important to you when buying a home - I cannot recommend AMUCU enough. I have been a member for years, love member appreciation days on Fridays - they even pay a member reward dividend in December! Highly recommend.

They denied me twice for a car loan (not even for $2,000) n twice two different banks approved me. Also, they were taken their sweet time to respond my son for a car loan, until his mom called n threaten to cancel all her accounts, then that's when they got on it. Someone charged my card on Sep-07-21 n I came in on Sep-08 to cancel my card n get a refund, I haven't heard jack from them or gotten a refund. I'm ready to cancel my accounts n stick with Mountain America they actually approved me for $10,000 for car loan n a low interest credit card (on the same day). On the credit card, I just wanted $5,000, they approved me for $10,000 n within months they bumped it to $15,000 without me asking or reapplying. I wouldn't get any type of loan here, they are going to take their sweet time on responding you. You are not meeting my expectations. So don't that say that you are

I have never had a better experience at a Bank or Credit Union. The loan officer was amazing. She was so kind and helpful and they helped me get approved for a car loan. I will definitely be using them in the future for more than just an auto loan.

Juan was amazingly helpful with every step of my refinance! I highly recommend reaching out to him if you have any questions with you and your options. He presented my options with explanations and benefits for either route I wanted. He made it as smooth as I could have imagined and he was always readily available for any questions or concerns I had. Great credit Union been part of that organization for about 25 years using them as my credit union since their name has changed twice. Good people doing good things to help out there members.

On the Auto Loan Side Claudia is Amazing in the West Jordan Branch. Her attention to detail is fantastic and Follow up is Great. She really hooked my brother up on great auto loan. I had an great experience with Juan on my Mortgage also. It was the simplest mortgage I have ever completed. In this market of quick moving properties I needed someone who knew what they were doing. I even referred 2 others to him who had the same experience. Unfortunately he no longer works for AUFCU. I just referred my kids over there to complete their mtg and it was not the same experience of knowledge and expertise. That is too bad. When dealing with large amounts of money you need knowledge - knowledge is power. Train your next mtg people. Please.

Worst customer service ever. I had auto pay on and it would work one month then the next month it would turn off so then I had to log on and pay it every month. No biggie right? Wrong that was even an issue they had no problem taking the money out of my account but then they would call me every moth saying we didn’t pay. And even wrongly charged me late fees even though I was never late. They tried saying I had the wrong routing number and blaming me for there mistakes. I had to send in screenshots of my online account from them showing it was paid and ones from my bank account showing the money came out and wasn’t refunded back. Also when I called to have my wife be able to handle talking to them because I work, they refused to add her unless I came in in person. They have no customer service its horrible

You know it is a good place when you have worked here for several years and then leave but still use the services. I scream millennial when it comes to banking so I don’t go in much, and sometimes the drive thru is a long wait, but it is probably because I haven’t been in a drive thru for a financial institution for over 2 years.

Completely dissatisfied with customer service and loan application and approval. Applied for a SMALL load, 100% collateralized, with over 800 credit score. 3 WEEKS later got a letter saying I was not approved because even though my collateral was sufficient for the loan it did not meet their min collateral dollar amount??? I called them again and talked to them about it, got a call back from the loan officer she said she wanted the opportunity to try again, I said yes. This time I not only did not get a letter, I did not hear back from them AT ALL! Then I decided to go with someone else and when I told the lady on the phone why she said "Oh I'm Sorry" then went on with getting me the loan payoff to go with someone else without another word about my dissatisfaction. She could not have cared less. When I asked if she could fax the information to my CU she said she was working from home and did not have access to a fax, no effort at all to find another way. The only reason I went back the second time is because I did not want the hassle of changing my auto deposits from there to my other CU. Well that is not longer the case, I've refinanced the loan I had with AMUCU, I'm changing my auto deposit and I was approved for the other SMALL loan and funded in less than 2 days!!! I will no longer be doing anything with AMUCU! I just got a reply on this saying "We're glad we're meeting your expectations!!!!! DID YOU EVEN READ WHAT I WROTE!

I was a little bit skeptical about joining a credit union, but singing up with American United has proved to be one of the best choices I have ever made. They always make me feel like one of the family. Everyone from the manager to the rest of the staff are always very helpful.

American United Federal Credit Union has been great to work with, both before and during COVID. There is always a human that answers the phone and directs me to the person who helps with payments and loan questions. I moved out of the city where my AUFCU branch is located, but that hasn't made any difference. I have continued with banking as usual. -Paula
