As a first time buyer, there was so much I didn’t know, and he took the time to explain everything in detail - spent an hour and half with me before I even decided to officially apply with American Portfolio Mortgage. His service and attentiveness far outshined the two other lenders I had preapprovals from - in fact they didn’t even follow up to check in until well after I was already under contract. American Portfolio Mortgage was able to provide me with the right amount of funding and the type of loan I was seeking. Through every step, Javier was proactive in letting me know what to expect, walked me through everything that was needed, and made sure I knew he was available any time for questions. I successfully got to the closing table on time without a hitch, and walked out of the closing agent’s office after one hour with the keys to my dream home. I could not be happier or more grateful for what Javier and the American Portfolio Mortgage team did for me.

all i can say is call gene mundt first. this guy is awesome! got the loan done on time and timely very efficient.have done loans with other lenders and would never go back.
